  • I absolutely love this center! My 3-year-old is currently enrolled, and I’ve seen so many positive changes. Since the new management team stepped in, the difference has been clear and refreshing. The structure, communication, and overall environment feel elevated. My child is learning so much and comes home excited to share what they’ve discovered each day. I especially appreciate the parent portal and the regular updates throughout the day—it gives me real peace of mind to see progress, photos, and notes in real time. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. You can tell they’re intentional about what they’re building here. I’m grateful to have found a center that feels both nurturing and forward-focused. Highly recommend!

  • Hate this place. The staff is awful particularly the front desk staff on the morning shift. They Do Not care about people's children at all.

  • My children have been going here for years. I have had 3 to go through this daycare. I can accept not everything is perfect as there will be instances where kids fall, scrape a knee, hit their head on something, get hit by another , etc. Its very easy to turn your back for a sec and this happens with no real explanation. Don't believe me, keep your little one at home with you for a week, lol. Also the owners have been like family to my family. I can remember the owner coming from humble beginnings working from her home, opened this center and never turned children away no matter what the parent's financial situation was. I don't know about now as I'm sure that had to have caused financial issues. Nevertheless they always seemed to stay afloat. Currently the temp in this industry as a whole is strained as facilities are unable to keep qualified teachers after Covid happened. Call around to the daycare's in your area and see what their availability is in in accepting more kids. No this isn't a 5 star hotel type of thing, but I have entrusted them with my little ones for years and they are well adjusted little people. I would rather my little busy body be there than home with me while I work any day, lol.

Questions parents ask about The Chestnut Treehouse

Is The Chestnut Treehouse a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

The Chestnut Treehouse holds Georgia record CCLC-24637, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Dekalb County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is The Chestnut Treehouse's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia publishes no Quality Rated star rating for The Chestnut Treehouse. Participation is voluntary, so a provider without a rating has not been assessed under the programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.

Does The Chestnut Treehouse offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists The Chestnut Treehouse as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for The Chestnut Treehouse?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects The Chestnut Treehouse's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
