We moved to Goddard school of woodstock when my son was 3, and we have been there for over 2 years. He will be graduating pre-k there next week. After working in childcare I was terrified to leave my child at ANY school. After meeting with Ms.Laurie, the owner, I felt comfortable placing him there. Ms. Laurie is a wonderful leader and teacher to her staff. They have ongoing training, staff incentives, and careful observation. Any concerns have been handled with sensitivity and kindness. My son loves it there and some of his teachers even came to his birthday party. This school is a family, and they treat your child as if they were their own children or grandchildren. Ms.Laurie, the pre k teacher, is so great and taught my son beyond curriculum. She worked with him on manners and kindness. Ms. Sheena and Ms. Barbara, the After school and private pre k teachers, are so fantastic. They love the children, not just care for them, they love them!! I would recommend this school greatly!! If you want a safe second home for your child this is the place for you.
Danielle GelpMay 16, 2026I literally can not say enough good things about Goddard. My only regret is not starting my daughter here sooner. Is it a more expensive option? Yes, but it is beyond worth it. My child is THRIVING and loves school, she is learning so much. Admin and teachers are attentive and adore the kids. We were at two other daycares before Goddard, and they did not hold a candle to it… not even close!

The teachers at Goddard are truly part of our village as working parents. I trust my child is safe and well cared for by the amazing staff. Thank you!
Emily BellApr 17, 2025Goddard has been a great investment for our girls. The ownership changed when we got there but Ms Laurie has been accommodating and kind. MS.Beth is one of a kind. She truly puts her soul into the kids. They have an open concept layout so you can see everything as you walk by. The kids have a structured lesson plan and agenda along with free play , nap times , snack times and outdoor time. They aren’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Update : We have been here since the summer of 24. In that time our girls have moved up a few classes. Their new teacher Ms Desiree is a very attentive and kind educator. She takes the time to explain the girl’s days and even makes sure all their belongings are packed. I am very grateful for her.
Mohamed HassanApr 15, 2025We have loved our experience at Goddard Woodstock. My daughter loves being there and always leaves with a smiling face at the end of the day. Some of the wonderful teachers she’s had there are ms cammila who really helped her become accustomed and comfortable there when she was a younger toddler. The management staff is very professional, kind, and helpful as well. It’s a great daycare community!

We live far from family, and the Goddard school, as well as my sons teachers, served as our stand in family. I sent my son to Goddard as a small baby and was beyond nervous, as he’s my first. They encouraged me every step of the way and didn’t even care how many times I called to check in 😂. They have truly CARED for my son - not just oversaw him like other schools do. They celebrated his many milestones in his months there. It truly felt like we were all celebrating my son together as he grew. The teachers were excited to see him daily, making him giggle within moments. What a comfort as a parent to know that the people taking care of your most precious gift are caring for them intentionally. I love picking him up and seeing how happy he is and laughing with his friends. You can trust the Goddard school with the safety and happiness of your children. I come from a long line of childcare experience and can say with confidence, they are truly the best at what they do.
