During my childhood, I attended various daycares, but one in particular stands out in my memory. As soon as I walked through the doors each morning, the teachers and supervisors became like a second family to me. Even at a young age, I remember the playground being like a carnival. Whenever I got into trouble, they were patient with me and taught me right from wrong, treating me as if I were their child and showing no signs of neglect.
Michael MyersOct 24, 2023My daughter will soon be transitioning from TLTDS and I am very confident that she will be off to a great start starting Kindergarten. The entire staff at this location are very attentive to children. They greet you with a smile upon entering and leaving. They make you feel like family. The facility is always clean and I love the fact that since my child attended there, I've never heard any staff member yell or seem too busy for any child or parent. I love how they actually send homework as many pre-k schools don't. I also had the pleasure of my child being allowed into the summer transition program and each week there are new projects for them to do. I'd recommend this school to any parent seeking a new Pre-K!
Mychaela VanisonJun 23, 2023The staff handles matters very unprofessionally! I used the daycare for two years and it was a great experience until I had an issue with my child. I trusted my child there and had what I thought was a great relationship with the center and staff. When I called to inquire about an issue I was having regarding my child’s progress in a very polite manner the director flat out insulted my parenting skills and basically went on a venting rant about all these issues she was having with my child and his work progress. Now as a parent I have no issues addressing whatever issues arise but I have never had a conversation with the center where they have expressed there have ever been any issues with my child or his progress. I was under the impression things were going great! So, if a problem went unresolved it was because I was unaware or lack of communication. I pick my child up and drop him off daily and have neverrrr heard any negative feedback once! With that being said I was completely insulted by the rant and honestly shocked. I simply called to ask a question she just went off! No exaggeration! Didn’t care about my concerns at all. I should also mention that the change I was noticing in my child’s progress was because the primary teacher has been out and the process has been a little different. Instead of telling me that and working out something with me she took an small situation to a very unprofessional place and clearly could care less about my business or the community’s with this type of business ethic! I typically don’t write reviews but after calling a place home for over 2 years this just didn’t set well with my spirit. There was a miscommunication between my child’s teacher and I that could have easily been resolved with a conversation. I was offended and withdrew my child immediately. The reply when asked to withdraw my child was dry on unconcerning. A facility with that lack of empathy for a concerning parent is disturbing and not a place for any child especially mine! His primary teacher ms Gaston was excellent I will say that!
Carla kimballDec 4, 2020The administration is completely unprofessional. All payments are controlled through administration. And if there is an error, issue or concern, you are not able to speak with them and when they respond, they are very rude and unprofessional...using capital letters and not showing any understanding or openness to modify their system to be more helpful and reasonable. Late fees accrue that you didn't know you had and you are charged late fees on the weekend even when your child is not there. No courtesy is given at all and your expected to solely rely on your emails for any reports. Otherwise, the staff are nice and I like that they give homework. I appreciate the director’s willingness to be open to suggestions and takes time out to listen to concerns. Administration needs to get off their high horse and understand that there is ALWAYS room for improvement! It doesn’t PAY to be rude, non-empathetic and unprofessional!!
ShaySep 24, 2019I absolutely love this school and staff. My daughter had Mrs. Gaskins for pre- k and had an AWESOME LEARNING YEAR!!! Shes a great teacher and really loves the kids and it shows. She pushes and encourage them to be great! Everyone has always greated me with a smile and respect including the Director Mrs. Clincy. She always refer to me by name which is amamzing to me because shes always working behind the scenes. This shows me she a really involved director. Everyone down to the nutrionist has always treated me and my child well. I know when I drop her off shes in good hands and she knows it too! Way to go Learning Tree!!! If you want your child to blossom this is the place to be!
