We’ve been very pleased with The Nest at Summergrove! The staff is friendly and I feel they really care for the wellbeing and accommodations needed for my child. I love the photos and information sent on the app daily — it helps me to feel a part of his day even while he’s away. Thank you for loving on my baby!
Hayden HallMay 30, 2026I do not recommend The Nest Summergrove based on my experience with their billing and communication. Before enrolling my child, I clearly communicated that childcare would be covered through a QCC scholarship. Despite this, there were delays on the provider’s end in completing required registration steps, which pushed back the effective start of the program. This situation reflects poor internal communication, lack of understanding of subsidy programs, and improper billing practices. I am now having to dispute charges and request withdrawal due to the ongoing issues. If you are using childcare assistance or expect clear communication around billing, I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions before enrolling. additional. these two following reviews are very accurate on how they run things. Read them and ask questions before sending your child. Shelby Voss 8 months ago Cayla Graham 7 months ago
Kendrick DavisMay 5, 2026at first, I really did love the school, but shortly after three months, I began to hate it. The kids are constantly sick, and I’m constantly was getting messages about different diseases, and sickness passed around the school. It was getting absurd at this point, because I felt like every week or every other week, I was being told about some classroom, having some type illness. Then, one day I came to pick up my child, and he had a bruise under his eye, which eventually turned into a black eye, and I had got no incident report about it. I had to contact the daycare about why my son has a black eye, and they couldn’t tell me what had. Then, after continuingly asking, they told me it was from blocks being thrown in the classroom, and I just don’t understand how block being thrown in the classroom can equal to a black eye. a They told me they would write an incident report, but never received one. Then they had overcharged me for tuition and I had to go back-and-forth with the billing company. And when I constantly reported the issue for weeks to staff, nothing was done about it and they couldn’t tell me the issue. And they did nothing to resolve the issue either. I say watch what schools and daycare you enroll your child into because I really did thought. This was a nice daycare until I kept having issues to the point. I had to unroll him after four months. That point it was just absurd. Update: just seen the reply and i was never told about my sons face, i had to call the school and wasnt told anything until the following monday. And then still wasnt ever given an incident report when i was told i would have one. Then the billing problem NEVER got resolved. So i get yall trying to bring kids in but stop lying because theres evidence and last thing yall would want to do is be sued.
Ashia SaundersMay 4, 2026We absolutely adore Ms. Aubrey and Ms. Isabella! Thanks to these two amazing teachers, my daughter truly loves coming to school at Best Summergrove every single day. From the moment she walks in, she feels safe, supported, and excited to learn. Ms. Aubrey and Ms. Isabella are incredibly kind, patient, and nurturing, and it shows in everything they do. My daughter has learned so much academically, socially, and emotionally, and her confidence has grown so much under their care. They take the time to truly know each child and make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. It brings us so much peace as parents knowing our daughter is in such loving, capable hands. We are beyond grateful for the dedication, warmth, and passion these two bring every day. Best Summergrove is so lucky to have them, and we just love them!
Alexis BedgoodFeb 18, 2026Ms. Lakela is truly a gift to her students. She creates a classroom environment that feels safe, supportive, and encouraging. You can tell she genuinely cares about each child and is intentional about helping them grow both academically and emotionally. My daughter absolutely loves being in her class, and that reassurance as a parent is priceless. We are so grateful for the impact she’s had this year.
Tilya MeansFeb 11, 2026Ms. Lakela is one of those teachers every parent hopes their child will have. She leads with love, patience, and consistency, and it shows in the way the children thrive under her care. My daughter adores her, and as a parent, that peace of mind means everything.
