Relay for Life Event was fantastic
Crystal FranklinMay 22, 2026Not the best facility, but a good local commuter college without dorms. There are multiple housing choices near the campus, all expensive.
Daniel EnzmannMay 16, 2026This is my college and everyone there is nice.
Muhammad Dawar KhanMay 12, 2026The school keeps erasing my one-star review because I keep telling the truth about what the UNG faculty did to me and what I asked them to do to remedy the situation. They cannot just shut someone up because they're embarrassed about theiremployees actions. Because I told the truth about a middle eastern professor who told me to lie about the reasons we were working on a project in 2012 so that she could excuse the reason she's getting calls from some guy in the Middle East connected to the Iranian government, the school keeps trying to silence me. I explained in my previous reviews that when I said something about it that the professor told some lies to people she knew and that ultimately resulted in me being harassed to the point I felt unsafe on the campus and left despite having taken all of the classes to earn 2 associate's degrees which I have never been awarded. I advise being very wary of these employees as they stick together and do not care about the students but just about their jobs and their friendships. A university is supposed to care more about its students. Further, this particular professor showed favoritism by letting students who gave the same answers as students who got the answers wrong, if she liked the other students she would give them the points as if they got the answers right. I'm not sure about all the other professors whether or not they did that, but I do know for a fact she did it so I'm advising the students who get wrong answers to check with other students being taught by the same professor to see if their answers are receiving different marks. People people only go to this University because they cannot afford to go somewhere else or because they have such low marks they cannot get into somewhere else. And to make something very clear, their GIS program is a laugh because you really don't need a degree to work in the gis field. You waste your time and money when you could go and train in the field and get the same jobs faster without wasting your time at this school. UNG you might as well stop erasing this because I will just repost it. If you had been more cooperative about your students rights and safety I would not even have a negative review to post. Potential students beware. And if anybody else had their reviews erased which I had thumbs up some other reviews which are now mysteriously gone too, red flags should be going off all over the place about the kind of school this is The only action I can take to protect the good decent people who attend is to post this review , so just remember they care more about themselves than they do about you. And if anybody is one of those potential GIS degree students just remember it's the only it was the only School in the country that offered that degree for a reason. It may still be. What a crock
YurissaDec 7, 2025Make sure you know that when you walk across the graduation stage, they’ll call u the next week telling you “sorry you need more classes” and then you will ask them “how many more classes do I need?” And they will literally say “I cannot guarantee how many more classes” Yet, you have an individual degree plan that specifically lists what you are supposed to pass/complete. Even if you have completed and passed all requirements they will still not release your degree to you. They just want your money. The employees here do not care about you or your future, just dollar signs. UNG May have the lowest tuition cost, but with that you’re getting the lowest end of the stick.
Taylor DobrinMay 25, 2023I attended school here back in 07-08 when it still went by the name "Gainesville State College" and was just started to expand and start construction on multiple projects to improve the academic facilities as well as making the campus more of a place that students would spend more time at and therefore increasing the likely hood of students that participated and and took advantage of growing list of activities and services available to them that otherwise might not of even been aware off. Given these changes since my time here I'm almost certain that my rating would increase to 4 or possibly even 5 stars instead of the 3 I have given in this review.
