Randy TubbMay 12, 2026This school is average and the curriculum in any subject of this school is behind. Go to a higher ranking school or go to a private school where there are placements. The job market during AI era is very difficult and half of the recruiters are scammers. Until this school proves to be a high ranking school where it prepares students for workforce, don't go here. Ten years later, you'll look back and want to see to graduate from a GOOD school. Initially, going to a Good school matter. I graduated from VSU and I struggled to find jobs because of its quality. Companies struggled to acknowledge this school. Please tell the staff to make this school a high ranking school otherwise, five years later it'll shut down due to AI takeover. Thanks.
Cyan RayApr 1, 2026A disgrace for a higher institution of learning. I do NOT advise anyone to attend VSU. You pay all the fees that are required of you and they still charge you some more fees down the road like you never paid in full. Scam! You would call the admin office till the cows come home. When you do get a response it will be a dead end. As student here, you are just a paycheck to them. There have also been accusations of discrimination and racism and poor advising of students. Students do not receive enough counseling from their advisors nor do they receive the support they need from my experience. At orientation they will show you a nice face until you actually settle in and see this institution for what it is- a sorry excuse for a higher institution of learning! I would not attend or send my child to this school!
JustDec 21, 2025I did a tour here, did not end up applying but was because of a change of plans. No issues with the university. Their student leaders were very helpful in answering my questions and the campus is very well maintained inside and out.
