Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of watching this center grow and being part of so many children’s lives. At its best, it was a place built on compassion, teamwork, and genuinely putting kids first. Unfortunately, I’ve also watched it decline. In my experience, there has been a shift away from understanding the needs of children and families, with decisions that seem to prioritize other concerns over the well-being of the kids. As a parent myself, I believe having empathy and understanding for what families go through makes a tremendous difference, and I’ve felt that perspective has been missing more and more. That said, there are still many hardworking staff members who care deeply and give their all every day. My hope is that leadership reflects on the culture being created and works to bring back the child-centered environment that once made this such a special place. Every child deserves teachers and leaders who lead with patience, compassion, and genuine care.

As first-time parents, we were a little nervous dropping our infant off with strangers the first day, but those strangers quickly became family. From Kayla, Stacy, Jenn and others at the front to the wonderful trio of teachers who care for the babies (Morgan, Kristi and Kim), everyone was always so friendly, professional and supportive. We recently had to move out of the area, but we would return to Winnford in a heartbeat if we ever moved back!
Emily VelezApr 27, 2026My grandson goes here and we are always so welcomed at the door. Admin team is always prepared to handle any questions. I am impressed with the security system they have. They always have classroom events we can join our grandson with. ❤️
Anita NixMar 22, 2026Winnford is the best daycare in my area that I've seen, the staff are always so nice and understanding, you can tell they really care about the children. My nieces go here and always tell me about how much they love it. The security and cleanliness put my mind at ease knowing that my nieces are safe and cared for.
IanMar 21, 2026We love winnford! My daughter is now in Pre-K and has been going there since she was 2. My son just started at 3.5 months old. The teachers and staff are great! They send tons of photos and I have piece of mind knowing my children are well taken care of. They respond profesionally to concerns and address them appropriately. We have maybe had 1 concern in 2 years so basically nothing. When it comes to my babies I'm a little over the top. We switched my daughter to Winnford from a different daycare after 2 years. It was not terrible but I am MUCH happier at Winnford. It's super clean, they do a lot of school events for the parents to attend. Would highly recommend this facility!
