Great preschool, very attentive to children. Lots of activities and would recommend that place to all my friends!

She enjoys her teachers, and I love that there's a solid curriculum, strong parent- school communication, and that parent involvement is highly encouraged. The community the school has built is also amazing! When my youngest turns two, I hope to send her here as well.
Lindsey D.Nov 4, 2023My son now attends Aiea Hongwanji Preschool and is in the 3s class. He started when he was barely 2 and a half. He has truly flourished in a year with his social skills, attachment issues, and potty-going (must be potty trained when attending). Mrs. Claire and her staff are wonderful!! The curriculum and how they talk to and teach these kids is amazing. My middle daughter also attended when she was 2.5 to age 4. We liked it so much we had the youngest go to!!! Same teachers and same warm and friendly environment. The fact that it is "attached" to a Buddhist Temple was not a deterrent and not really a factor beyond teaching the little ones peace, tranquility, and tolerance for all human kind. This place definitely builds character and prepares them for Kindergarten. Love this place!!
