Early Explorers

We absolutely loved Early Explorers! The center offers a wonderful food program with diverse, healthy meals that our kids enjoyed every day. The indoor play space is large and perfect for those cold winter months, and each classroom has its own outdoor area in addition to a huge playground for everyone to explore. The location is also a big plus—especially if you live on the west side or work at UIHC or the University of Iowa. Most importantly, the staff showed unconditional love and care for our children day in and day out. We always felt confident that they were in a nurturing, safe, and happy environment. Highly recommend Early Explorers to any family looking for a great daycare experience!

As a mom (or parent), there is literally nothing more important to you than making sure that your kids are safe and happy, so choosing a childcare center where they'll spend so much of their day felt very high stakes for me. When choosing a daycare for our first, we visited several and by far were most impressed with Early Explorers. Since then, our oldest has gone through almost every classroom and our baby started at the center a few months ago. The most important thing for me is that the teachers and administration at Early Explorers are all so caring and good with the kids. The center also stands out for the physical indoor space which is bright and open and allows for interaction amongst the different age groups, outdoor spaces for each classroom, the enrichment activities offered (music, literacy, soccer, dance), the teacher:kid ratio (lower than at other daycares we visited), etc. I could go on and on! We have been very happy with our experience at EE and would highly recommend!

Early Explorers has been excellent for my grandkids. The staff is friendly, happy and helpful to the kids, parents and grandparents alike. The minute you walk in the door, it feels and sounds like a joyous, warm environment where the children are learning and thriving.

Early Explorers has been a great center for both of our kids over the past 6 years. It’s great to know when we drop off our kids that we are leaving them with people who treat them like their own! Our kids love playing on the large playground and it’s very convenient having extra activities(dance and soccer) offered right at the center.

My granddaughters, ages 3 years old and 7 months old, attend Early Explorers. Every time I have dropped them off or picked them up, the caregivers are friendly and helpful. They greet the children with joy and enthusiasm. The kids’ activities are fun and educational, and both girls love their caregivers so much! I highly recommend Early Explorers to parents looking for a happy, safe and caring environment for their child!
