Families First Child Care and Learning Center

We absolutely love Families First Daycare. Our son has been at this Daycare since he was 4 months old and is now 4 years old in their preschool room. We had a scary inhome daycare experience when he was 3 months old, so we needed to get him into a center where we knew he'd be safe at all times!! We fell in love with families first right away, they were so friendly, helpful and understanding with our situation. We got consistent updates and pictures to assure us he was okay during the day and we could tell the staff absolutely loved him and took excellent care of him!! He is so excited to go to Daycare each day. He really looks forward to seeing his teachers, friends and other staff members each day. He has learned so much from teachers and staff, i am amazed with how much he has learned from his teachers. They have fun unique ways of teaching these kiddos! The Daycare has always been willing to work with us, listen to any concerns, and accommodate a flexible schedule when needed. I always know my child is in great hands at Families First!! We would absolutely recommend this Daycare to anyone considering it, for an infant , toddler or preschool age.

We had a wonderful in-home daycare experience for our first child, so we were initially apprehensive about transitioning to a daycare center for our second. However, our experience has been nothing short of amazing! From the very beginning, the communication has been excellent, and we love receiving pictures and updates throughout the day. The structured activities and nurturing environment have helped our son thrive, and most importantly, he is so happy at drop-off each morning. The staff is incredibly warm and loving. We can truly feel how much they care for our son. Their high standards and dedication to creating a safe, enriching, and supportive space make it feel more like a family than just a daycare. We are beyond grateful for the love and care they pour into each child. We couldn’t have asked for a better place!

This was the first daycare we tried when we moved to Waverly and we have nothing but great things to say. They consistently share how your kid is doing throughout the day to help ease your mind. They have plenty of awesome crafts and lessons to help develop your kid. My son is always happy and excited when we drop him off and when we pick him up. Families First is a great choice for daycare!

I have nothing but good things to say about Families First. We brought our youngest over immediately after a horrible experience with a different in home daycare in town. They got us in the very next day and my son, who has a speech delay, has been so much happier. His speech has improved drastically, his behavior has improved and instead of screaming when I drop him off like he did at his other daycare, he is SO excited to be dropped off and play with this friends and teachers. They accommodate his food allergies and individual needs which I SO appreciate. They have a set schedule that is great for giving the children structure, include many activities and crafts, and even update parents multiple times a day through an app to share what they are eating, playing, and learning (including photos!) I was so nervous to send my 3 year old to a daycare center but I could not recommend this daycare center enough. They have blessed us over and over and I am so thankful! Thank you staff, we really appreciate all you have done for our family!

Families First has been an incredible addition to our families lives. They have encouraged our children and shown them love since day one. Our daughter comes home with new skills learned every week. Mary Jo is hands on and participates in the children's learning and it's totally normal to see her interacting in different rooms. The employees there are also so kind and considerate and provide so much attention to the kiddos. Our school age son had an issue with being put on a different bus at the elementary school and Mary Jo had called the bus barn and school to reinforce where our son was supposed to go and on what days. She expressed so much concern for him and the situation. These small actions add up and I feel so reassured knowing my children are taken care of so well by so many genuine and wonderful people. I also love the up to date info on what the children are doing all day via the app. I'm able to see my kids all day and know exactly what they are doing and when. Very grateful to have found them.
