  • My daughter will be 3 in December and has been attending the nursery since she was 10 weeks old. From the first day, she really bonded with one of her teachers Vilma and has maintained that bond throughout the last few years. It has been awesome to see. She talks about her teachers and her classmates all the time and misses everyone on her days off. I can be a worry wort and anytime I send a Brightwheel (the app they use) question or check in on my child my husband and I both receive a response within minutes. They send us pictures and updates when things are going on. And when I requested to be called with any incidents, the co-director immediately agreed and has done so since. Caring for a group of toddlers has to be one of the hardest jobs in the world and it would be hard to be perfect but we truly believe that our daughter is loved and that they work hard to honor her autonomy. We appreciate Montessori nursery and all of the staff.

  • Im writing this review, because if I was looking at daycares I would want to know someone’s experience. I think there are some really great teachers here, but as a center, I wouldn’t recommend anyone’s child attend this daycare. The lack of care for the children and communication with parents about what happens during the day is concerning. I hope my experience can help others make informed decisions about the best place for their child. This centers biggest issue is staff training and communication. Here are the two most egregious examples: While attending my child was not given their antibiotics at all during the day, and sent the medication home with the wrong kid. When I asked the staff about it, they had no idea my child was supposed to be taking anything (despite us filling out their medication form) and had no idea where the medication was. Second, my child was dropped on their head and we were not informed. At all. When I picked them up and asked the teacher about it they said they didn’t know what happened since they weren’t in earlier. I sent pictures of my child’s face to their pediatrician and they recommended we take our child to urgent care. After continuously messaging seek answers to what happened, our pediatrician didn’t believe the story they told us and filed a report with the state. The last thing I will say is they seem to have a staffing issue. In a few months my child went through multiple head teachers who we would never learn were taking over until we met them at drop off. I can only speak for my personal experience, and I know many love this center. But I personally would never recommend anyone send their child here who wants stable and attentive care.

  • We have had a wonderful 2+ years here with our daughter. The staff is kind and loving and my daughter has learned so many wonderful things. They read, sing and play independently with their little “works” stations. The staff works hard and manages the kids well. Very happy we chose them!

  • Your children will benefit from the education given by the teachers and staff here. The staff values You and your children. The staff is always taking time for a one on one lesson with the students and teaching them the basic principles of life and beyond.

  • Beyond rude staff. I have never dealt with a daycare that speaks to people like this.

  • READ THIS: 2022 EXPERIENCE I would like to preface this review and state that I thoroughly enjoyed The Montessori Children's Nursery before the changed in management. My daughter started at 6 months old and stopped going at 2 years old. The issue began when there was another student in the class that was continuing to attack my daughter to the point it she cried at every drop and at home because she was so afraid of this child. I continuously asked for a solution to this issue and the provided me with the bare minimum. It clearly states in the parent handbook that "The school cannot serve children who display chronically disruptive behavior. Chronically disruptive behavior is defined as verbal or physical activity which may include but is not limited to: inflicts physical or emotional harm to other children" Not only did they see her get bullied, I provided them with photos of every time she'd come home with a new injury. The child that was continuously harming my daughter( from March 2022- July 2022) was not asked to be removed from the program for disruptive behavior, but instead my child was removed from the program. I received an email from the Director offering me a refund for the remainder of the month and terminating my child's care with no proper notice. Even though I had already given my 30 day notice at the beginning of the month. The reason for this termination was because my lack of trust couldn't be reconciled and they needed reassurance I wasn't going to call DHS on them again, **note that DHS called remain anonymous and no DHS employee is allowed to provide that information to the daycare center** I fought this termination as it was completely out of line - to terminate a child who is the victim instead of terminating the child causing this issue. I was told that is wasn't a racial thing (by the Director of the preschool Montessori Childrens Garden) because the Director of the Nurserys husband was "half black" - social media can quickly tell you that was more than likely a lie to cover up an racial bias. My daughter was bullied from March 2022 up until July 2022 when I pulled her out of the Nursery. I am appreciative of 2 great teachers that were there but the rest of the staff acted as if my daughters well being was a very low priority. It is very unfortunate that the Director who was once one of my child's teachers, cared so little about one of her students
