I have been to the NELA many times and know many of the children who attend. The staff are wonderful people and very caring. The kids love the environment and their teachers. I've watched staff and parents interact and it is evident how much they care for the kids there. I have listened to kids talk about what they do and their activities and they are definitely a child-centered center. Would definitely recommend!

Sharon BurtonMar 1, 2023AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN. I would never refer anyone here. The director is a nightmare. Not only did my kids spend more time at home then at the actual center because of some outlandish 72 hour rule. The director was extremely rude and used disenrolling my children as a threat constantly. I brought up concerns about my ledger balance after overpaying for 3 weeks and she was rude about that, blaming it on my tone. The same day she refused to let my father in law pick up my daughter because his name was only on my son's paper. She wouldn't allow me to give permission over the phone but instead I had to clock out of work and go to the center in order for my child to be picked up. She claims it's a state law which is 100% not true. She was extremely rude when I was there. At one point they said they weren't going to let my daughter leave with me until I lowered my voice. They didn't like my response to that , told me my kids were unenrolled and threatened to call the police. This place is a nightmare! They definitely made an easy buck off my kids. The only nice this about the center was my children's teachers.
LeahSep 3, 2022They almost made me lose my job by sending my kids home every time they would be there and they would then have to wait 72 hours… when I brought my concerns up the owner was suppose to call me as they said she would and never got a call I will never refer anyone to them. They made decent money off my kids for hardly watching them.
