I can't recommend Prairie Rose Montessori enough! The director, Ms. Gretchen, truly cares about the children and families who attend Prairie Rose. Prairie Rose offers a loving and calm environment. Our daughter, who is now in kindergarten, attended summer camp there all summer and our two-year-old son attends fulltime for preschool. Our son says "Yay!" when we pull into the parking lot and is always delighted to be dropped off. While attending the school, his language skills have improved drastically and his social and emotional development has been noticeable. The makeup of students is truly diverse, which we appreciate having lived in a much more diverse part of the country before moving to Iowa. We are so grateful to have this school in Cedar Falls - there is nothing else like it in the area.
Molly DoranSep 18, 2024Ms. Gretchen and the other teachers at Prarie Rose Montessori are models of compassionate education. My daughter was well prepared emotionally and intellectually to enter public school kindergarten. My son, who transfered from another preschool, had a noticeable change in his demeanor and is now calmer, kinder, and more focused. The diverse community that attends the school is the type I want my children involved in. I can't thank Prarie Rose Montessori enough for what they've done for our family.
