Precious Lamb Childcare/Preschool

I have two children who currently attend Precious Lambs Childcare, I am VERY pleased with the care that my children receive. All of the staff are caring loving people. I love the Christian based learning that my children receive. I will be referring any people I know who are looking for childcare.

It genuinely pains me to have to write this, but I pray that maybe this review can be the first step toward positive change in this facility. We received a lot of dishonest communication regarding what they would do with our son here, mostly regarding how much TV they would have the kids watch, and what they consumed while watching TV. We were told that they would only turn on educational and Christian programs at the last hour of the day during pickup, and frequently if we would take our son in late after appointments we would see them watching television in the middle of the day. They would also play Disney and Peppa Pig and whatever the current popular thing is, certainly not focusing only on Christian content like they kept telling us. When my son comes home from daycare more excited to talk about Elsa from Frozen than he was about Jesus, it's a big problem. It was incredibly disappointing to be lied to repeatedly about this and we should have found our son a different program sooner. They were always chronically understaffed and struggling to find coverage. When we would visit the classroom it felt like the norm was chaos and that kids could essentially who what they wanted. Miss Vicki was great and we felt like the staff were genuinely trying to do their best and to do the right thing, but the lack of general experience from leadership and lack of adequate staffing and honest principles really held them back. This is unfortunately not the best place to send your kids if you want them to have a Christian preschool experience. The lack of consistency with Christian messaging that was put on equal ground to Disney and pop culture, and the fact that children were often simply not able to be disciplined due to lack of adequate and experienced staffing is simply not consistent with a biblical frame of guidance. Much of what my son learned at this daycare also seemed to include many damaging behavioral habits, and while they seemed to try and integrate basic singing lessons with Christian songs and learning their ABCs, overall I would not say it was a good value daycare or preschool experience either. I genuinely wish I could tell others that we had a better experience, but partially due to the bad habits my son picked up here we are still fighting an uphill battle with behavioral struggles. I genuinely hope they turns things around and I believe that God always offers second chances, and we will keep them in our prayers and hope for future changes in a positive and godly direction.

I have loved this daycare!!! I was not afraid of the beef in the reviews some other people had with each other from outside of the daycare, that they then brought in, to the daycare... Don't be messy in public places is my advice. This daycare has been the best daycare and we have had many other daycares with not so great experiences over the past 3 years. They took my son in and have worked with him in a way no other place has. I have seen an improvement with my child. Chris is very professional. This was the best daycare out of all the daycares we have used over the past 3 years. They are not over packed with kids. The child to staff ratio was very nice. My son LOVES this daycare and doesn't fight me when I take him everyday. He told me last night he is going to miss going here. I recommend this daycare <3

We love Precious Lamb! Great staff, great environment, frequent updates about my child and easy communication! Dropping off is so easy in the mornings when the child is excited to go!
