Shining Light Learning Center

Shining light has been one of the best things to happen to my daughter and I. They truly care about the children whom they provide care to and the families as well. My daughter started attending when she was 6 months old because I did not care for the center she was at previously. We haven’t looked back! Every day she comes home happy and demonstrates the skills she has learned on the daily basis, they have even helped with potty training! The center is also neat as a pin and the staff are all non profit. My daughter talks about the teachers she is excited to see every day on the way to school. We feel very fortunate to have found this center ❤️

Will try to raise price on you out of nowhere Lady who answers door in afternoon rude as can be. Director can't handle any problems that parents might have. Very unprofessional lie on daily sheet for your child's day. Won't let you tour facility. Lie about injuries at facility and place blame on parents Pastor nowhere to be found ever,does not return calls. You can hardly tell this is a church. Do not I repeat do not take your kids here. They are money hungry and only care about the money nothing else. Will not try to build a relationship with parents and families I'd give it 0 stars but wasn't an option.

My children have been attending here for quite some time, if I could recommend a safe and outstanding environment where love and neutering for children is the key this would be the place! My children are always so happy to see their teachers in the morning and always ask about them on the weekends when they are home with the family, The teachers grow a bond with the child that’s so strong it’s so amazing. My child told me “mama miss Debbie is my best friend” That’s his teacher! Melts my heart to know my children thrive here. Very clean and appropriate environment. The way the staff talk to and teach ur children couldn’t be done in a better way in my opinion. When I was told that none of the staff are paid for working and it’s all for donations and love that’s when I new my children were truly loved by all the workers. That’s amazing! I’d highly recommend this place. 🤍 God stands high in this place.

My son learned a lot, but two of the staff are extremely rude. When I came to pick up my sons belongings I was rudely rushed out with my son and not allowed to let him say goodbye to his teacher. The treatment I received whenever I picked up my child from the director & the lady under her was unacceptable. For this to be a Christian daycare, I was surprised at the way they treated me when I walked in the door. Especially a young single mothers like myself. The customer service was terrible. I will not be returning my child.

We have been so happy with the care Shining Light provides for our son. The staff is knowledgable and compassionate. They provide individualized care as needed for every child as well as creating a very diverse and engaging environment for learning.
