Loved the experience we have had at Sonshine and are returning for 4 yr old preschool this fall. Staff is great to work with and felt my son really got great attention learning and I could see his progress from start to end easily.

Abi schendelMay 20, 2026I felt Miss Laberta and Miss Kristen had the upmost care for my child. They welcomed the kids every morning with big smiles and it was evident they enjoy their job. I really appreciated the play-based learning for the 3-year-old classroom as it developed relationships and social skills for my child who has not been in a daycare setting prior. Our family cannot speak highly enough of our year at Sonshine.

Both of my children have gone through this program with different teachers and every teacher they have had has been not only a fantastic teacher but an extraordinary person that has been a great role model. I always feel like they go above and beyond with each child and I love every activity/craft/holiday activity that is done! Everything about this program is perfection in my eyes and I am always sad when our time ends. Having a Christian preschool option like this in Marshalltown is a blessing and I love seeing my kids grow in their faith and pray/talk about Bible stories from such a young age. Both kids have left preschool prepared for kindergarten and with a confidence I am grateful for.
