Our daughter is two years old and absolutely loves her time at The Learning Garden. The staff is caring and attentive, creating a warm and safe environment where she feels happy and engaged. We’ve seen her grow and develop so much since she started, and we highly recommend The Learning Garden to any parent looking for a loving place for their child!
Jataevien WrightApr 18, 2026We love The Learning Garden! Our 3-year-old has attended since TLG opened, and our second will soon go there as well. The staff is welcoming, kind, and so loving with all of the children. The directors know parents and children by name. The building is secure, and the communication is on point with their app that delivers real-time updates on diapers, naps, food/bottles, and other important announcements. It’s easy to reach the staff with any questions or concerns. Parents are able to and encouraged to participate in special activities with their children inside and outside of the classroom. TLG offers monthly optional (free of charge) activities for families to connect. Examples include: local museum visit, egg hunt, family picnic, and craft night. It’s a great way to get to know the other parents and meet classmates you hear so much about. Our son especially loves the outdoor play area. This isn’t a place where children are staying inside if it’s muddy. Getting out and exploring nature is encouraged! Monthly visits from a Davenport Public Librarian and Naturalist from the Wapsi River Environmental Education Center are also a big hit for him!
Sara RomaineApr 13, 2026The Learning Garden provides absolute peace of mind as a care solution during the work day. We moved to the area 9 months ago, and were so fortunate to find a spot for our (then) 9-month old son here. Through two classrooms and three seasons, he is so well loved and looked after every day. They get outdoor time and/or gross motor time, sensory activities, and plenty of reading opportunities, all through the lens of nature and growth. The staff are communicative and friendly, and the app provides insight into the little ones’ days so you have an idea of how things went by pickup time. Highly recommend The Learning Garden!
Liz Millea HullettJan 19, 2026My daughter loves it here! The staff really know her and care about her. They have lots of opportunities for outdoor play, creative play, and structured activities. The Learning Garden also brings in specialists from places like the library for extra-educational fun events! They're also quick to respond when I have mid-day questions, which is a relief for me.
Katie StyrtDec 2, 2025The Learning Garden provides a safe, engaging environment for our child. Their play-based learning plan is great for our son as it allows him to explore and create! We’ve seen so much growth in his development. He’s in the best hands with the best staff as they ensure he is safe and keeps him engaged throughout the day. We highly recommend The Learning Garden.
Salina WilliamsDec 2, 2025I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Learning Garden. From the moment we walked in, we felt an immediate sense of warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for the children. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. You can tell they truly love what they do and take pride in creating a nurturing, fun, and nature inspired environment. Our daughter absolutely loves going each day and has grown so much socially, emotionally, and academically since starting here. The teachers go above and beyond to communicate with families, sharing daily updates, photos, and thoughtful notes about progress and activities. The classrooms are bright, clean, and full of engaging learning materials, and the outdoor play area is a child’s dream, safe, spacious, and full of adventure. We feel complete peace of mind knowing our daughter is cared for by such an amazing team who treat the children like their own. The Learning Garden is more than a daycare. It is a community that helps children thrive. We are so grateful to have found this place and cannot recommend it highly enough.
