We hosted a birthday party at Willkie House and had a great experience! Very flexible space and perfect for any event with kids…the gym space is very nice and there were plenty of tables and chairs for guests. Kids ran around the gym, played basketball, and had a blast playing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to host a birthday party or similar event in Des Moines.

It's a blessing for our community for our kids to grow up with mentors who care and that are teaching them so many things to better there lives. Keep up the good work. I'm so proud to say I grew up around this beautiful place. I remember the dances and field trips. People who really care about our legacy

Kayla StaceOct 1, 2020The staff are very welcoming, and warm and respectful. The facility though old is kept clean. The kids loved it here all summer. They open very early and keep the kids till pay 4pm. A meal is provided. The facility is secure.
