A Place For Kids

Amazing daycare. My daughter has gone here for a long time and every time I’ve dropped her off I’ve never had to worry and know she’s in good hands. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. My daughter loves it here

We love APFK! This our second go round. My 2 older kids (19 &17) made life long friends and were so ready for school when they started kindergarten. Shannon (the owner) is great and has worked with us in more ways than one. Highly recommend them.

We sent our son here for a year when he turned 4. He had a rough time with it at first, and would cry every time we left him because he wasn't used to being away from home. It was hard for us too! But the staff was so warm and comforting, it made it much easier knowing he was in good hands. Eventually the crying stopped and it even got to the point that he wouldn't want to leave when I came to pick him up because he was having so much fun. He loved his teachers, he learned a lot, and he made lots of friends. Another reason we loved APFK is their effort in accommodating his food sensitivities. I offered to bring his own food because trying to feed a kid that can't have corn, dairy or gluten can be tricky but the owner assured me that they could accommodate him, and they did! They made him his own gluten-free blueberry muffins. They even found some gluten-free things at the store that I hadn't seen before. Also, when he developed a fragrance sensitivity they took the air freshener out of the kid's closet, no questions asked. I would highly recommend APFK to anyone looking for a quality daycare. I was in tears on his last day because I was so sad his time there was over. I wish we would've found them sooner!

My son has been going here for 3 years now. When we first got my sons autism diagnosis I was very worried about what the future looked like. The whole staff at this center is caring, friendly, attentive, and most of all actually love the kids that go there. My child’s development has so much to do with the amazing owner and staff. They will go above and beyond to accommodate special needs and I was lucky to have gotten him into their program. They also have the best prices in town for a daycare center and they also are very flexible with the schedule. Don’t second guess placing your child here, you will not regret it.

Our son has been at A Place for Kids for just about a year and a half now and we love it! It’s been such a great place for him. All the girls are really good with him and I can tell he is so loved and well taken care of. It’s so reassuring to drop your kiddo off at a place while you’re working and know they are safe! I always recommend this daycare/preschool. Thank you guys!
