We love Busy Bee’s my kids have been going to this daycare for years and they have formed bonds with the staff there. They eat good food, I am informed how much and what they eat throughout the day. I get app updates for my child’s nap times and bathroom times as well as any issues that come up as they happen. In addition to updates through the app, I get one on one conversations with teachers, Ms. Stephanie, and Mr Adam on how my kids day went. I have received countless art projects and have had to learn new songs because my kids have so much fun with dance parties and children’s nursery songs. My youngest asks for dinosaur stomp on repeat. I get excellent communication from everyone if I have a concern it is addressed immediately and if my child has a behavior that is not great, because lets face it all kids have their days, I am made aware of what happened and how it was addressed discipline wise. I am very pleased with the level of communication, service, and genuine care that is shown to my children daily, even when my youngest is making it hard on them. They always show patients and love and he tells me all about his day always happy to see his teachers.
Wendi BroganApr 30, 2025Busy bees is a great in home daycare. Your children will experience love and affection from the caring staff and the owner Stephanie. She has several years in child care and shows love and attention to each one based on their individual needs. The teachers employed there are kind and caring. I love the fact that it’s a small home based daycare now thus being able to give more attention the kids need. Yummy home cooked meals are prepared daily. They allow you to drop in at your leisure to check on your babies anytime. There are cameras that are constantly recording and can be played back should any issues arise. It’s rather sad to see some of the negative reviews that are being posted on here from parents who have issues with the daycare due to their lack of paying or want to listen to other parents complain and making false accusations. I strongly encourage anyone who would like childcare to check this place out for yourselves and form an opinion based on that not on the disgusting lies of others.
Holly ValdezApr 29, 2025I want to first start off by saying the decision to write this review didn’t come easy, it took some wrestling with myself but ultimately I decided the only reason I debated writing this review was to save myself the stress of any possible conflict or black lash and ultimately that is selfish of me. My son attended busy bee for about 2 years. We first started at the center when they were located at a commercial building in Payette and the daycare was amazing. They were structured, organized, clean, and weren’t shy about helping my son with his asthma while he was there. To be clear I had no major concerning incidents in that first year and a half or so while they were at the center in Payette. I did feel like the turn over rate was high and I was often seeing new faces or hearing of girls leaving but it wasn’t necessarily a problem. In my opinion things ultimately changed with the move from Payette back into Stephanie’s home in fruitland. After the move I noticed a couple things I didn’t love 1 the front door is always unlocked and you are able to walk in anytime which means anyone can walk in anytime and that’s unsettling and possibly unsafe 2 the cleanliness seemed to decline, it often smelt bad and felt cluttered 3 the daycare no longer felt very structured or productive. This was the most important to me. It felt as if the kids were mostly kept in the living room all day with no real plans other than just to be watched over. Previously it seemed there was more structured activities, like arts&crafts, circle time, story time, recess etc. I noticed after the move my son was having more behavior issues, like screaming at the teachers and his class mates and not listening. This makes sense to me because he was no longer mentally stimulated with activities giving him a lot of time to become bored and frustrated with too much energy, giving more reason to act out imo. Most importantly the decision to pull him from the day care came after an incident involving Stephanie’s husband Adam disciplining my child. To be clear it is extremely inappropriate to me that her husband had any hand in disciple given that he is listed on their website as “maintenance” and on top of that I had never seen him consistently around the kids acting as a teacher or caregiver giving attention to them or building meaningful relationships with them to gain the right to discipline them. Anyways after a conflict with another child and a daycare worker my son was separated and put in time out by Mr Adam. The worst part about this story is after receiving the call that my son was inconsolable I showed to the daycare 15 minutes later to get him. When I walked in I was told by the infant teacher that he was around the corner in the hall way. When nearing the hall way I could hear him crying, after turning the corner I found my son alone, in the dark hall way, in the corner with the light turned off, crying. The second he saw me he cried even harder and melted into my arms. I could see the stress all over his face and felt how relived he was to see me. This moment alone has kept me up at night with my stomach in knots because of how heart broken I was seeing him like that left alone in the dark to cry. Within a minute or so Mr Adam and the teacher showed up to try and explain their side to me but I could only focus on calming my son down and getting out of there at that time. Later that day I spoke on the phone with Stephanie and she admitted the light should have never been turned off (Mr Adam’s excuse to me for turning it off was to try and calm my son down) Stephanie stated my son was never really alone because someone was always right around the corner listening for him. That wasn’t the case when I walked in that day. I decided to pull my son from the daycare that next day because I couldn’t ignore my gut and what I felt and experience that day. I wouldn’t wish that on any parent ever.
Kaylie WatsonApr 22, 2025My son went here for a year and we had to find a place closer to home so he’s no longer attending, but we miss them dearly! We received constant updates on diaper changes, meals, nap times, and even received pictures of their activities! We always knew what he did that day and felt relieved knowing he was safe and loved. Stephanie and her team also helped us get our son out of a terrible situation with his bio mother (whom left a bad review named Bonnie Baker). CPS failed in our attempts to look into his situation while with another daycare but once he was put into Busy Bees, Stephanie and her team quickly noticed something was wrong and took action. We now have full custody and he has flourished! This daycare truly cares about the children and never leave the parents in dark wondering how things went throughout the day. I only wish we could come back.
Mary KramerJun 6, 2024I'm a very anxious mother but Busy Bees has done a great job at easing my mind and I know my son is well cared for there. They have cameras all through the daycare and use an app where you will recieve updates on your child's activities such as eating, sleeping, diaper changes and fun pictures of your little one. They are very responsive in replying to your messages and anytime I have had any questions or concerns Katie and Stephanie has been great about addressing them. The Daycare is a little spendy but the price is well worth it. I love the well balanced meals, lack of electronics and all the hands on activities they do with the kids. I would highly recommend this Daycare to anyone that is looking for a fun and safe spot for your kiddo.
Latia ScottFeb 8, 2024Hands down love this facility. My son gets so excited from the very second of walking into the building. He lights up every morning saying hi to Stephanie and Paige. Dawn and Kass are so welcoming when we enter the room it makes drop off so smooth. The app that's provided with tuition is a life savor for a peace on mind. I can comfortably work knowing I'll be updated an in the loop of my son's well-being while he's there. I would recommend the facility to anyone especially first time mom's looking for the secure, safe, loving child care.
