Caterpillar Corner Child Care

I have three kids and have gone through five different daycare facilities between them, so I feel like I have a pretty good sense of what’s out there. About a year ago, we moved our 3-year-old daughter to Miss Tammy’s and have been so happy. With larger daycare centers, you never really know what teachers they’re going to hire, what their attitude will be, or how long they’ll stay. Just when your child gets comfortable, there’s turnover and you’re starting over again. Tammy brings such great consistency, and she truly loves working with this age group, which shows every day. Her class sizes are small, no more than six kids, which allows for so much attention and care. Each day is well-rounded. My daughter is doing movement, learning activities, music, free play, arts and crafts, and even simple science. One of my favorite parts is the life skills she teaches, like folding laundry, cleaning up spills, and sweeping. It’s been amazing for building confidence and independence. She also provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and shares lots of photos and videos daily through the app, which I really appreciate. I would absolutely recommend Caterpillar Corner Childcare for any potty-trained child ages 3 to 4.

We’ve had such a great experience with this daycare. My 4-year-old has learned so much since starting here—he’s counting, knows the months of the year, is recognizing letters, and is constantly bringing home fun art projects that he’s so proud of. What I appreciate most is how they balance learning with play and social development. I’ve seen a big difference in how he interacts with other kids his age—he’s more confident, shares better, and genuinely looks forward to going each day. It’s clear the staff really care about the kids and create a positive, engaging environment. I’m so grateful for the role they’ve played in his growth and development.

I couldn't be happier with this preschool for my daughter. Ms. Tammy is incredibly caring, patient, and truly invested in each child's growth. She provides a perfect balance between learning and play, helping kids build confidence, and social skills. I never worry about the safety or well-being of my daughter, it feels like family!
