I love how happy my son is when I drop.him off and pick him up. The director does amazing with communication and getting real time updates gives me a sense of ease while I work.
Ryan BighamMar 16, 2026I appreciate that I get real time updates on my daughter. The staff is very good at communicating. My daughter has learned sign language as a form of communication and is always happy when I pick her up or drop her off
Isaac McBrideJan 28, 2026I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a daycare located in the Caldwell, Idaho area. The current team that took over - after the last- seems to prioritize the kids and making sure they're safe and taken care of properly and are leaning new things every day. The kids all seem to love all of them a lot as well, and that says a lot since we all know that kids won't like you very much if you aren't good to them or make them feel safe and cared for. Please check it out!
C SpencerJan 12, 2026This is the worst experience I have seen my niece is always coming back down and while picking her up I see staff gripping kids arms yanking them to correct actions as I watch another staff slap 2 kids in the back of there head while walking into the building. They should not be watching kids and I would never trust any kids around this daycare! If I could do a lower review I would!
alisha porrazNov 13, 2025This daycare facility has been great with my son. He has a speech delay and they have helped Him dramatically improve his speech. They are also very understanding and helpful With situations that as parents cannot have control over at times, I appreciate all the staff being so caring and understanding with my son He has learned a lot since being At Darney‘s Daycare 🩷
Anna BrownNov 10, 2025Unfortunately, this daycare fell so far from what they were just a couple of weeks ago. It fell hard when the owner lost her staff and has since hired new help who has not brought the same level of care that her old staff did. Take for example my 5-year-old son would ask if he could go to daycare and enjoyed the teachers and activities that they were doing. Fast forward just a couple of weeks and both my sons are crying when they have to go to this daycare. We noticed the decline in care almost immediately after her new staff took over. At first when we would receive their lunch boxes full of trash and a lunch box with a full-open yogurt spilled inside the lunch box. When we confronted the owner she told us that it was a hard day and that she and her staff barely made it by because they were so overwhelmed. She then told us that putting lunches away properly was about 3rd or 4th on her “priority list” and that she suggested we clean the lunch box like the other parents. When she charges the most in the valley for childcare (as confirmed by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare) I would expect more than the bare minimum for care. The lunch box would be something that we could look over but the final straw was the day her new staff fully took over and she had a new manager in charge my 2-year-old son wasn’t changed all day! We know this because we have different pull-ups at home and for the daycare. He was picked up in the same pull-up he was dropped off in. His diaper was full front to back with pee. We confronted the daycare about this and we were lied to at first and we were told he was changed at 10 in the morning. Once we told them about the different diapers we have for this exact reason they finally told the truth and made more excuses like they were overwhelmed and it was a difficult day. Going back to our text conversations on the Brightwheel app she had deleted our conversation. Thankfully we had an alternative conversation with the manager apologizing for her lack of care. Needless to say, we immediately started looking for new childcare and thankfully have found a different option. Screenshots of all our conversations from these issues are below.
