Huckleberry is much more than a school, it’s a community. Ms. Rachael and her staff provide superb early childhood development, foster independence and emotional intelligence, and show us all how capable these littles really are. The community we built through Huckleberry has had a huge impact on our family. Our family sadly suffered the loss of my husband and father to the kiddos this year. We were able to lean on these people like no other. They are the heartbeat of our little village. I would highly recommend Huckleberry to anybody considering it. They are kind, good hearted people. Ms. Rachael wants the best for her students while honoring each child’s pace. I wish we could stay with them forever!

He learned so much about compassion and empathy, and how to communicate and share with others. The time has come for our son to graduate to his next level of school but we will miss this place dearly, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a small and friendly community of families and wonderful teachers. Thank you Rachael!
Britta WehrleSep 15, 2024We had a wonderful experience at Huckleberry Montessori, where our daughter attended for two years. The teachers are highly involved, and the friendships and bonds formed between the children are truly magical. Our daughter learned so much during her time there, preparing her for kindergarten beyond our expectations. If we hadn’t had to move out of state, we would have loved to continue her education there for a third year. Ms. Rachael, in particular, was incredibly respectful, responsive, and kind-hearted. She had a profound impact on our daughter, who continues to talk about her almost daily. Ms. Rachael is a true blessing to the Sandpoint community. I highly recommend Huckleberry Montessori to families looking to build a strong community for their child and foster essential life skills like caring, respect, inclusion, integrity, responsibility, and courage. It’s a special place that has been a great start to our daughter’s education journey.
