This preschool was everything we’d been looking for! They spend so much time outdoors playing and exploring, and they also learn at an age-appropriate level through art, books, and play. I hated the thought of my four-year-old sitting at a desk which is why I searched for an alternative. Not to mention Lauren has all the same certifications you would hope for at a more “traditional” preschool. I told myself I’d only enroll her in a preschool that I felt could do things for her that were even better than I could do at home, and this one definitely does! My daughter always asks if it’s a preschool day!

Acacia WanlassFeb 3, 2026This is an incredible place. The teacher, Lauren, is such a blessing. My son really enjoys his time at school and is learning so much about the world. I love that he comes home spouting animal facts and talking about how much he likes his teacher. I highly recommend this preschool. 10/10
Shannon HogoboomJan 24, 2026The small class size is nice helps the kids get that one on one build lasting Friendships with the other kids. Lauren is kind, fun, and flexible. One thing that stands out for us is Lauren's efficient communication style. Whether it's a quick text to check in or a detailed monthly newsletter, she covers it all by including the parents to follow along in their child's progress. My daughter looks forward to going each week.
Sage MarchieJan 13, 2026Small Fry Preschool has been wonderful for me and my little boy. Both of us were nervous about him starting preschool (he’s my baby so I was extra sad ☺️). I found that Ms. Lauren creates such a warm, fun, and nurturing learning environment. My little guy is excited to go every day and has grown so much in confidence and skills. I couldn’t have ask for a better preschool or a more caring teacher! 11/10 recommend this prescho.

The environment is warm, welcoming, and incredibly nurturing, making it a perfect place for young children to thrive. A special shout-out to Teacher Lauren, who is absolutely amazing. With her extensive educational experience and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, she brings a level of expertise that truly enhances the learning experience for every child. She has an incredible way of connecting with the kids, making learning both fun and educational. Weather permitting she has the children out to play outside often. It’s clear that Lauren has a deep understanding of child development, and her patience and care make a huge difference. Highly recommend this preschool for anyone looking for a top-notch, supportive educational environment for their little one!
