⭐☆☆☆☆ My son attended this daycare from the time he was a newborn until he was one year old. Our experience was incredibly disappointing. He was eventually asked to leave because he was “hitting” and being “naughty”—behaviors that, in my experience, are not unusual for a one-year-old who is still learning and developing. I expected a daycare to have the experience, patience, and tools to help guide toddlers through those behaviors instead of repeatedly sending them home or ultimately removing them from the program. I was constantly getting calls to come pick him up because of his behavior, which made it feel like they were unwilling or unable to handle normal toddler challenges. As a parent, that was incredibly stressful. I also felt judged by the owner throughout our time there. I never felt welcomed or supported, and I personally felt that families who didn’t fit a certain mold were treated differently. After my son started at a new daycare, a staff member who had previously worked here told me that employees would “yell at him a lot”. I wasn’t there to witness those interactions myself, but hearing that was heartbreaking and has stayed with me ever since. Looking back, I’m grateful we found a daycare that was much more patient, understanding, and equipped to work with toddlers. Every child deserves to be cared for with kindness while they’re learning and growing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this daycare. There are many other wonderful childcare providers that make children and parents feel supported. It has been over two years since my son went here. I wish I would have wrote this sooner. I’m not sure what has changed since then. Hopefully a lot.
Olivia LattimerJul 17, 2026We’ve had our children at Katie’s Kids for a little over a year, and we truly couldn’t be happier. Katie and her team have created such a loving, safe, and welcoming environment for the kids. As working parents, there is nothing more important than knowing your babies are cared for, loved, and protected while you’re away, and that’s exactly how we feel every day. The staff is incredible, the facility is always clean and well-maintained, and it’s obvious how much they genuinely care about each child. Our children are excited to go each morning and come home happy, which says everything. We are so grateful for Katie and her amazing team and cannot recommend them highly enough.

The teachers are caring and attentive, the playground is safe and fun, the art area inspires creativity, the library has a great selection of books, and the snacks are healthy and tasty. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a preschool.
Lauren AlfordMay 12, 2026Katie’s kids is by far the best daycare/preschool center in town. Katie the owner and Wendy the director are the most caring and involved leadership. My daughter went there from 7 weeks old until kindergarten. We even moved to downtown Boise at one point and after searching around decided it was worth the drive to have our daughter go somewhere that we know is safe, clean, loving and well managed. All of our babies will go to Katie’s!

My daughter has absolutely thrived! They are flexible great with communication and so caring! It’s everything I could ever ask for!
Marie MartinezMar 20, 2026We’ve had such a great experience with Katie’s Kids in Eagle. As a mom, it’s not easy trusting someone else with your kids, but from the beginning, I’ve felt completely comfortable here. The staff is kind, patient, and truly cares about the kids. You can tell this isn’t just a job to them...they actually invest in the kids and their development. My kids are happy when I drop them off and come home excited to tell me about their day, which means everything. The environment is clean, organized, and really well run. There’s a great mix of structure and play, and I’ve seen a big difference in my kids socially and with their confidence since starting. Communication has also been great, which makes a huge difference as a busy parent. I’m really grateful we found Katie’s Kids and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare in the Eagle area. I have known Katie and Wendy now for sometime with my children going there and they are two of the most genuine, caring people I know!
