Le Soleil French School for Children

Our son has been in the toddler program at Le Soleil for about a month and we could not be more pleased with our decision to enroll him. Thanks to the dedication and care of the school director and fabulous teachers, our son immediately felt safe, loved and welcome there. He's happy to go to "school" each day and always all smiles at pick-up. We especially love their daily adventures around the neighborhood and the thoughtful and engaging play-based learning activities. Add on the French immersion model, which is so impressive, and this school is truly tops! We love the daily pictures, updates and communication, knowing that our son is having a blast while learning. A special shout-out to teachers Cecile, Ibrahim, Linda and Immaculee who our son just loves and always wants to hug and blow kisses to before leaving each day.

Le Soleil is an amazing place, we feel so fortunate to have had our daughter in the program. She started at 7mo and the teachers are incredible. My daughter took a bit to get used to the environment and the staff met her every need and helped her grow the confidence to play independently at her rate. It's a big transition for the little ones and the onboarding plan, the updates and pictures through the Brightwheel app as well as the adaptability from the staff to meet every child's needs really made it a positive experience for everyone. Pascaline is the lead teacher for the infant room and she really cares and loves for the children as if they are her own. I can speak highly of all the teachers at the school, they are awesome and care greatly and deeply for all the children.

Le Soleil continues to exceed our expectations! All of the teachers are welcoming while providing love and security for our little one. They allow for free play and encourage creativity while supporting the arts and academics. Everything is done with structure and guidance. In addition, the Executive Director invests in thoughtful toys and nutritious snacks while implementing engaging activities. To top it off, our toddler is learning a second language! We are proud to be a part of this French community.

I have children in both the preschool and the infant daycare at Le Soleil. For me, it was important to find a program that was a safe and nurturing place for my children to develop academically and socially while also being allowed to explore their individuality. This program is just that. The teachers are wonderful, and the kids love them! The school administrator is highly experienced in early education and language immersion. He has been professional and responsive to questions and concerns I’ve had, and he has never made me feel like a bother. He really has his stuff together and is very intentional with the way he is running the program. The speed at which the children develop their French language skills is astounding! They experiment with physical science, art, music, math, reading and writing. It is play based and self-directed learning which keeps them highly engaged. They also learn about everyday life skills like household maintenance, self-help, plant care and pet care (there is a classroom saltwater fish tank!). I feel very comforted knowing that my children are well cared for and happy while I am away. Thank you, Le Soleil!

I LOVE LE SOLEIL! It has just been the greatest thing for our family. My kids love the teachers, the daily activities, and the friends they have made. They look forward to going and it gives me such peace of mind to know that I'm sending my kids to a place where they are happy and well cared for! The school is very communicative, responsive, and reliable. It has been very important to my husband and me that our kids learn French. Le Soleil is the only French immersion school in the area, and I have been so impressed with the French aspect. My four year old comes home singing songs in French, and she understands and speaks well for her age. My younger child (two) does not yet speak much but understands very well. I love that the school has a lot of native French speakers! I can't say enough positive things about Le Soleil, I am so grateful that it is here in Boise!
