I was so nervous for my baby to go to daycare at 3 months old. Thankfully, NIKA has eased my fears like I can’t explain. Chelsea and the rest of the girls keep me updated on an app through the day with every diaper change, meal, nap, etc and they send photos too! I am so grateful for this place! As a single mama trying to survive on one income, NIKA is a key factor to my success. Their reliability, flexibility, and quality care are unmatched!
Chelsea JenkinsMay 11, 2025The socialization , focus, confidence and knowledge my very high energy son has gained is all thanks to the structure this place provides and the love , compassion and patience of the care takers !
Rebecca FortneyMar 13, 2025One of my favorite things about this daycare is how much they update me about my kids! When my son was an infant the teacher was constantly sending me pictures and videos of him! Theres nothing better than being at work seeing a picture of your kids having so much fun doing a fun craft or learning something new! It’s hard to trust people with our kids but I trust Jackye has my babies best interest at heart always!
Carina CashMar 12, 2025I think all parents have the right to know about my deeply troubling experience with this daycare, which has been marked by a series of unprofessional and unethical behaviors that raise serious concerns about the integrity of this establishment. I have encountered numerous issues, including instances where my child was allegedly hidden from me, seemingly due to the staff's personal relationships with my child's mother. They have purposefully hidden my child’s attendance by not signing him in or out properly, which appears to be a deliberate attempt to conceal when he is present, especially during times when I am available to have him in my care. This lack of transparency is alarming and has caused significant distress for both myself and my child. I can no longer drop him off without him crying and clinging to me out of fear that he won’t see me again. The daycare's failure to maintain accurate attendance records not only undermines my rights as a parent but also raises serious questions about their commitment to transparency with all guardians. Furthermore, the daycare has produced misleading evidence for my ex-partner in a court setting, which has been detrimental to my custody case. Despite providing the daycare with all necessary court documentation and clear instructions regarding their obligations under the court order, they failed to adhere to these guidelines, further complicating the legal process. In light of these experiences, I dont recommend taking your child to this daycare something just isn’t right. It is essential for any daycare to prioritize the welfare of the children and maintain open communication with parents. Unfortunately, my experience has shown that this establishment falls short in both areas. I sincerely hope that others consider these factors when choosing a daycare for their children especially if both parents don’t always agree because they will show bias
MikeWolf_Made-ItFeb 19, 2025We have been pleased with NIKA. The staff are friendly, and the environment is clean. They have two sections: one for the children under 2 years and the other for 2 years and older. My two-year-old grandson loves it there. He attends part-time, and I feel his verbal and social skills have improved since he started. They always greet him when he arrives and know his personality. I feel like they are honest about what type of day he had—how he ate, napped, acted, etc.—instead of telling you what you want to hear. Knowing that he didn't eat (sometimes he doesn't) is preferable to hearing that he did. They use Brightwheel, and this works well for communication. For example, if you want to see how your child is doing during the day, you can send a text through Brightwheel and receive a response. The only frustration I have experienced is daycare closures for sickness. Illness-related daycare closures, of which there have been several, are not eligible for credit. This is written in the contract, and I understand emergencies, but it is expensive when you divide the cost per day by the number of closures. Excluding this, the staff are friendly, the daycare is bright and friendly, the kids look happy, and I think the teachers provide a lot of attention to each kid. I always see the staff sitting on the floor interacting with the kids—holding the babies, reading to them, or doing an activity. The staff are involved with the kids and not just standing around looking at their cellphones.
Robin BesseyFeb 12, 2025We moved from out of state and NIKA came as a family friend recommendation. We could not be happier with their care. We have a 4 year old and 20 month old twin boys and all three have settled in seamlessly. Jackye and her staff consistently communicate about how our kids are doing and the phrase I come back to is that they give us the “warm and fuzzies”. If you know, you know- it’s the best place for us and our kiddos, hands down.
