Rosario Spanish Preschool

We were so lucky to meet Maestra Rosario at Garabatos Preschool. Our oldest was an extremely shy child, and Rosario was the only teacher she truly bonded with. A few years later, when it was time for our youngest to start preschool, Garabatos had been sold—and Maestra Rosario had taken her years of experience and opened a small, home-based preschool of her own. We toured many of the well-known local options, but ultimately, teacher quality and Spanish immersion were our top priorities. Having already experienced Rosario’s warmth, patience, and kindness firsthand, the decision felt clear—we wanted our youngest to learn with her too. I understand how choosing a home-based preschool can feel like a leap of faith if you don’t already know the teacher. But what Rosario has created is something truly special. The consistency, the absence of staff turnover, and her deep experience create such a calm, nurturing environment. And beyond that, the thoughtful extras she incorporates—yoga, art, and my daughter’s favorite, cooking—make it an incredibly rich experience. It’s truly a gem of a place for both caring and learning.

This was my daughter’s first experience with childcare/school and she absolutely loves it. Rosario is so patient, responsive, and gentle with the kids. The curriculum has been wonderful - my daughter sings Spanish songs, and has learned her alphabet and colors. It’s so nice having such a small group of kids in a nice, quiet yet central location. I cannot speak highly enough about this school and would be open to answering any questions about it. Thank you so much Rosario!

We cannot say enough good things about Rosario Spanish Preschool! Our son loves going to school there and is picking up Spanish so fast it’s hard to believe. We love that Señora Rosario incorporates so many fun things into their day: yoga, gardening, singing, crafts, outside time, dancing, cooking… etc. The small number of students leads to a more personalized learning experience with lots of one on one time. Both Señora Rosario and her husband are very kind and the kids love them. I highly recommend Rosario Spanish Preschool!

Our daughter attended this preschool for a year and we absolutely loved it. Mrs. Rosario and her husband José are amazing and has taught our daughter so many Spanish songs, words and dances. She also always came home with cute little arts and crafts too. I would put all my kids through this preschool if we weren’t moving. 5 stars!!!!! Couldn’t recommend more

I have so many great things to say about Rosario Spanish Preschool I don’t know where to start! We were very picky when choosing a preschool because we want the best for our daughter and were very happy that our daughter was able to attend Rosario Spanish Preschool. We felt comfortable dropping her off everyday because we knew that she was physically safe, emotionally supported, and learned and played every day. Rosario and Jose were easy to communicate with and payment was super easy. Their home is beautifully organized and clean. During and after her attendance at this preschool, we received many compliments on our daughter’s Spanish speaking ability from native speakers. At the school, our daughter was able to garden, play games, create art, bake from scratch, and participate in many other intellectually and physically engaging activities. Our daughter is now in a 1st grade dual-language Spanish program and doing great. We would recommend Rosario Spanish Preschool to anyone looking for a small-group home setting, Spanish-language immersion, and a wonderful teacher.
