SMART START LEARNING ACADEMY

My son is having the best experience at Smart Start! You can tell that his teacher genuinely cares about his interests and helping him to excel. I love the academic component that differentiates Smart Start from a typical day care. My son is ready for kindergarten in the fall and we’re so thankful for the education he has received.

We have loved Smart Start for the past two years! From our initial tour of the school to our last summer attending, we’ve had a wonderful experience. One thing that immediately stood out to us was how much pride the owner takes in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. There is a strict cleaning routine, and communication is always transparent when illnesses are going around. That level of care and honesty has given us great peace of mind. Our classroom experience has been fantastic. There has been very little teacher turnover, which has provided consistency and stability for my child. The academic foundation is impressive. My daughter will enter kindergarten knowing all of her letters and already reading! I also love how much time the kids spend outdoors, even during the winter months. There are always fun crafts and activities, and the staff makes holidays and special occasions feel extra meaningful for the kids. Security is clearly a priority as well. Even when a new teacher is present, I’ve been asked to show ID when picking up my child, which I greatly appreciate. It shows that they take the safety of every child seriously. What I love most is that Smart Start feels like a true classroom environment, not just a daycare. The summer program has been wonderful too. Both of my kids have been able to attend, and they come home excited about the fun activities and experiences they have each day. My children genuinely love going to Smart Start and look forward to it. I would absolutely recommend Smart Start to any family looking for a safe, clean, fun, and enriching environment where their child can learn, grow, and thrive.

My son has been at smart start for 2 years now. I’ve never once worried about the quality of care he’s receiving. The staff is loving, kind, attentive, and quick to communicate with parents. Things are clean, organized, and flow well even if they have a low staffing day. I’ve been so grateful for the little community of this preschool and will miss it when my kiddo moves on to kindergarten next year. I have nothing but good things to say, and if you’ve dealt with many childcare places, you know that’s rarely the case. I would recommend it for anyone looking to give their child a chance to socialize and begin learning before elementary school 🥰

My daughter as well as my neices and nephews all attended Smart Start and it has been the most wonderful experience. My daughter was very shy and timid when she started and all of the teachers helped her grow in her confidence as well as make her beyond prepared to enter Ponderosa Elementary. She was able to write her own name as well as begin to learn spelling of other words, counting and number recognition before much of her Kindergarten class. The teachers are all so kind and communicate with parents as well as create a safe and fun environment for the children. We even have come back for the Spring and Summer months and my daughter is excited everyday to go! Nothing but positive things to say about Smart Start!

Both my kids go here and they look forward to it everyday! Just had the Father’s Day party with both my kids and they loved it! I work a lot so it was fun seeing them interact with everyone. All the staff is amazing and you can tell they put their heart and soul into these kids. Keep up the great work and thank you for everything you do!
