This place is a joke. Straight out the gate the communication was awful and they would withold information regarding the kids and at one point they literally told us we would have to subpoena them in court for information. Our youngest had almost daily blowouts which never happened at home which means they just weren't changing him. He regularly "wouldn't go down for a nap" for them but had never had an issue sleeping anywhere anytime for anyone else. Our oldest told us that the staff wouldn't watch them and would just do their own thing most of the time and that the staff wouldn't believe him when conflicts arose and that he got in trouble regardless of fault or situation. The kids were constantly getting hurt or getting in fights with other kids because the staff does essentially no activities with the kids and they were all just running around trying to entertain themselves. Our youngest had unsupurvised access to scissors on at least 4 seperate occassions and cut his own hair and even chased his brother around the daycare and cut his hair, meanwhile the staff just laughed about it. They even got all new staff part way through us attending and we thought it would get better but it got worse. They left our oldest at school and the school had to call to have him picked up. They decided to rearrange and let the kids run around the whole building so there was no age group class rooms or closed off spaces and then told us that our youngest was too much to handle because he's very active and would regularly put him in a leash backpack so they could keep a hold of him and even put him in a pack and play at 3 years old so he couldn't play because they didn't want to deal with him. They tried to make us pay for a baby gate saying he's the only one that it would be used for, it's a daycare, they should have baby gates anyway. They also tried to make us pay for a cricket and another office item that they had out and accessible saying that he supposedly broke it. Office supplies should not be readily accessible to young children and we definitely shouldn't be charged for them deciding not to contain any of it. It was a nightmare and I'm glad our kids will never be going back.

Ali PAug 13, 2019I love this daycare! I love the people that take care of my son here! As a single parent, I would be lost without them. My son has learned so many things and brings home artwork for my refrigerator 😍 Thank you Smart Starts for helping me raise my baby. ❤️
Laney RobertsonApr 27, 2019I have a 4 year old daughter that has been going to Smart Starts for over a year. She loves going there. They do lots of activities and crafts. My daughter has also learned a lot from the preschool classes. Sometimes she comes home with a little paint or dirt on her, but she had lots of fun.
Kathleen ParkinsonApr 23, 2019I’m pleased to say that my son was happy with the staff. The hours of operation were very flexible. I would have liked to see more results with the preschool and perhaps warm meals for the kiddos. I have made the decision to stop coming to the daycare due to distance and convenience . I was a bit disappointed with the lack of respect on my last day. It felt very cold and hurtful. However, overall It has been good. I look forward to coming back when time presents itself. Thank you to all of the staff.

She will work hard at any time of the day for those kids and it's honestly heart warming. I admire how much love and respect she gives to all the kids and staff. She takes a lot of time out of her life for this daycare AND preschool and makes sure everybody is satisfatied and happy with her work. I love the staff so much. They also spend so much time out of their lives to work for Smarts Starts. I find it ridiculous how some people lie about staff hurting or abusing children. They don't yell at all to the children and are very kind to them. The staff is very kind and good here and I love it. The hours here are super good. They are fit for any parent or guardian needing to have somebody watch their children. For real though, hours are so good. Meals here are super healthy and tasty for children. They always have a proper meal plan so that kids can be healthy and happy. They have 3 meals a day (if you have a full day) and a couple snacks. Every child is always fed and not only fed but fed with good ingredients taht make kids successful in the future. I highly recommend this place to any parent or guardian who needs their children to be safe and watched. You can count on this place to have your child be safe and happy.
