Suntree Language Academy

Suntree is such a wonderful place! I'm eternally impressed by Borja and all of the folks at Suntree -- they manage to be very professional in their communication and structure and policies but still be so warm, accessible and child-centered. Having a bus pick up for after care is huge and their summer camps are a blast. Highly highly recommend!

Our oldest Ethan has been in the Spanish language preschool at Suntree since August 2024 - he loves it SO MUCH and honestly so do we. This is our 3rd preschool in as many years due to moving etc and we have been continually impressed by the staff, the thoughtful curriculum, and all of the community-oriented activities that are available on a regular basis. Never before has our kiddo asked "do I get to go to my school today?!" (and how he does regularly!) We love Ethans teachers Senorita Eimmy for being so supportive and in tune with the kids, Senorita Jessica for her sweetness and calm presence, and Senorita Mariana for being so much fun and for caring about the kids emotional development beyond academics. We feel so lucky to have gotten a spot in this class for Ethan when we moved from washington state last year!! This is a school that was truly designed with both sets of 'customers' in mind (students AND parents). We love that the schedule is matched against a normal workday / work week (830-5), that there is a focus on outdoor time daily plus yoga, meditation, art and music throughout the week, and that the school runs year-round so there is no need to scramble for spots in camps during the summer. We also love the move nights that are offered every month where the kiddos can have a fun dinner and watch a movie together in their PJs and parents get a night off! We also really appreciate the strict adherence to vaccine requirements - we have no interest in any of our children picking up diseases that have already been eradicated and suffering unecessarily. Thank you to Justin and Borja for creating such a wonderful school and community! We are very appreciative to be part of Suntree!

5 stars for the adult learning course I recently completed. I decided to refresh my French, many years after struggling to learn in grade school through high school. "Skills" were very rusty, but I found this in-person group setting to be fun, and a wonderful way to re-learn a language using a more modern approach. Our teacher, Alessandra, was great. She is extra competent as a teacher who inspires an interest in culture as well as language. She has helped me overcome my fear of actually speaking french. I am looking forward to the start of my next group course next month.

Suntree has been such a fun place for our son to attend this summer. He gets to go out for lots of activities, is able to express his creativity through art, and fostered so many sweet relationships with friends and teachers. Thank you to Jessica, Donnie, and Yolande for the care and fun they create!

Enrolling our twin girls at Suntree was hands down the best decision we could have made for their education. The staff at Suntree are simply amazing! They've made a tremendous impact on our girls, particularly in their speech and writing skills. From day one, we were kept informed about their progress, and it was clear they were thriving. Special shoutout to Ms. Emmy—she's been incredible! If you have the chance to enroll your kiddos at Suntree or any of their sister schools, don't hesitate. You won't regret it!
