Our daughter has been attending the Barnyard on Broadway since February of 2025 and we loved it at the start. Once she aged into the 2 year old “piglets” classroom is when our entire experience with them changed drastically. Our daughter was constantly involved in incident report after incident report for being bitten by her classmates. Yes, it is developmentally appropriate for 2 year olds to bite but every time I had a meeting with the site director, Aly, about how they were going to change things up in the classroom, the next week almost without fail we would get another notification that our daughter had been bit again. It got to the point that every day when I would drop my daughter off I would leave with a pit in my stomach because I felt like I was failing her by continuing to put her in a dangerous classroom environment. In 2026 alone, our daughter had been involved in 6 incidences, the last bite that broke me was where a “friend” bit her on the back while on the playground and it broke the skin and my daughter still had a scab from it as I type this. I was told on two occasions that the executive director for the Barnyard Daycares, Mikky, would reach out to me so we could figure out a way to make it work and improve the safety of our daughter and she never did. Only sent an email 4 days after I made the decision to withdraw our daughter from the school due to the fact that they were unable to create a safe environment for her. I felt like there was a severe lack of ownership on her part, and also an incredible lack of sympathy for the heartache we’ve had to endure as a family. Especially for my daughter who’s had to question why her friends at school would continue to hurt her.
Teresa StenlundMar 17, 2026Barnyard has been an amazing place right from the start. The staff is warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to creating an environment where kids can grow, explore, and feel supported. The activities are always creative and engaging, designed to spark curiosity and keep little ones excited to learn. Their focus on emotional development really stands out too. Children are encouraged to understand their feelings, express themselves, and build confidence in a very caring setting. We’re genuinely grateful for the passion and care the Barnyard team puts into their work every day. It’s a place we trust completely and one that truly feels special.
Soumya PoduriDec 30, 2025We absolutely love the Barnyard on Broadway! After a year at home our daughter started with Miss Kasidy and Miss Mikhaila, and we could not be more grateful for them. They are so invested in their student’s experience and learning. The director, Miss Kelli, is incredibly nice, and worked with us to enroll our daughter at a time that worked for us. I really cannot say enough great things, and we are so happy this is where we ended up!
Erin DresserNov 25, 2024Barnyard is such a great daycare! Their attention to detail cannot be beat. They are extremely clean and they have extra security measures to keep kids safe. In addition to being cleanly, they have a great pre k curriculum to teach phonemic awareness, and letter formation. I have peace of mind because I know I am leaving my kids with the best care.
Stephanie NamballaNov 25, 2024My daughter has been at the Barnyard on Broadway since October of 2023. I am very satisfied with the level of care that she receives by all of her teachers, and the admin. The hours of operation work perfectly with our schedule. The app is a wonderful tool where I receive regular updates about her day including photos and videos! Overall we have had a very positive experience.
Brandy BurkettNov 21, 2024Our daughter, now 3 years old, has been attending Barnyard since she was a baby, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff creates such a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. Barnyard stands out for its fun and creative activities that keep our daughter engaged and excited to learn. We also love that they incorporate English, Spanish, and sign language into the curriculum, giving her an early start in becoming multilingual. The emphasis on emotional growth is another highlight—they teach kids how to talk about and understand their feelings in a positive, supportive way. We’re so grateful for the care and effort the team at Barnyard puts into helping our daughter grow. It truly feels like a second home!
