  • This preschool is a DELIGHT. We love it so much. Miss Kim and her teachers are amazing and so good with the kids. I love the preschool building. It is light and bright and open and every time we go, there is a new set up. One time they set up a huge camping tent right inside along with all sorts of pretend play related to camping -- fishing, a campfire, etc. There is always art, sensory play, and outdoor time. The outdoor play area is designed especially for preschool-aged children with so much to do and discover. I could go on and on about how wonderful this preschool is. Thank you to Kim & Drew and the whole Willowbound family. I am so grateful my daughter has had the experience she did here.

  • Willowbound is such a great preschool. It is a hands on preschool and there are always lots of fun activities for the kids to do. My daughter is always bringing home fun craft projects and telling me about the what they are learning about in her class. The teachers are excellent. Most of them are college educated and are so good with the kids. The only down side to this school is that it's not academically based, though they do work on some basic academic skills. Over all, we have loved Willowbound!

  • We had a less than ideal experience with this school. We understand that there are many very good experiences for others and this won’t be the same for everyone. If you feel your child has needs that are specific to them or they may need a little more guidance, this may not be a good fit. A teacher who wants to diagnose at the first sign of any behavioral issues isn’t someone that I believe truly desires to know the root of the problem. When I ask about why my son is coming home crying and having nightmares every night, I want to know how we can improve his experience and make a plan. I don’t want a referral to a doctor and “I wish I had better news”. I also don’t want to hear about how amazing and wonderful other specific students are and then told my son is a disruption and burden to the group (believe me, I know his strengths and weaknesses!). The way this was handled was so upsetting to us as parents who are trying so hard. Communication from teacher to parent must improve. Social media is a great place to connect and communicate but when the teacher is SO involved in liking and commenting on pictures and then immediately blocks me after I question her motive for my son really confuses me. I SO wanted to love this school but it was not a good fit. I sincerely hope it improves for those students who may be a little different than the desired good girl or boy.

  • I cannot say enough good things about The Nature School at Willowbound Farm. This has been my son’s first preschool experience and he is so excited to go each time. Their approach to learning is phenomenal. Ms. Kim and Ms. Allie foster a safe and positive environment for the children. I trust the education my son receives at school. I also trust the safety and security there. They have gone to great lengths to mitigate risk. I was nervous to send my three year old out into the world, but I feels confident and secure leaving him in the care of his teachers. I know my son feels loved and included. His class has a diverse student population with students of varying needs and backgrounds. I’m continually amazed at the quality education and attention he gets at school. He is learning to better communicate, he is building relationships, and he is developing attributes like love and inclusion. This is not a conventional classroom with strict lessons on literacy and mathematics (though they will learn those things). Rather, it is a wholistic approach to education and social development, and it is brilliant. Classes are catered to the students ever-changing interests and curiosities. I’m so grateful to have found Willowbound, and I cannot wait for my children to attend for years to come.

  • My son has loved attending Willowbound. Everyone is so friendly and hands on, and he's learning in a way that is impactful and engaging. The class sizes are small. The teachers are genuinely invested in each child's success. And the environment in the schoolhouse is unbeatable. I spent a lot of time looking at different preschools in the area and was really impressed with everything that I saw at Willowbound — I'm very happy that we picked this school.

  • We have loved Willowbound so much. My son looks forward to going and loves what he is learning. I love the teaching approach Miss Kim has. I am so grateful for Miss Kim and Miss Allie and their patience and calm they have with each student and for the time they invest into creating new experiences for the kids to explore.
