My son who is 3 right now, has been going to TLC for 2 years, maybe a little longer. I had a HORRIBLE experience at a daycare before this one which made me terrified to ever take my kids to another daycare again. TLC has made me feel confident that my baby is in the right hands every single day. At first he had a rough time adjusting to new faces and going to a new place every day. They helped ease that adjustment by making him feel comfortable almost imediately. They always gave me the reassurance I needed to go to work with peace of mind. Now, he is disappointed if I tell him he is not going to daycare one day. I have continually been impressed on the amount of stuff TLC has taught him. I love seeing the art work he brings home and the pride he takes in it. I also love that he gets plenty of outside time to burn energy and always has sunscreen. I saw there are a few posts about kids coming home dirty, I love me a dirty kid! That means they got enough outside time! Kids are supposed to be outside playing getting into the dirt! He has never come home excessively dirty. The few issues I've had are addressed immediately and I do not have to give them a second thought.
Sabrina Hoke-GarzaOct 3, 2024My son when to this daycare for 2 days and we will never be going back. You can see other people’s reviews regarding a Facebook post I made in regards to this daycare the Director or owner have responded. Yes there was a lengthy email with screenshots of footage where my son supposedly ate his food. From the way he was acting when he got home tells me he did not eat. He has gone to daycare before so going to a new one did not affect his mood or eating habits. He has gotten to the age where he will shake his head no or swat at food. My son is a great eater but at times he will not want anymore because he either wants to play or is distracted not because he isn’t hungry. The snacks I provided were never used and the can of formula was barely used. I deleted the fb post because they were threatening me with slander and defamation and honestly I don’t want the trouble. All I was doing was sharing our experience and letting other moms be aware. My message reached so many moms and now they are aware of TLC. moms have messaged me thanking me and others saying they had their child in for a day or 2 before taking them out for different reasons. There is a huge issue with TLC. I’m not the only one. Parents have access to cameras. As a ftm and taking your baby to a new daycare is nerve wracking. For the 2 days my son went to the infant class I’d take him home give him food he would be shoving food into his mouth. He could not get it in fast enough. The snacks weren’t used because the director said they were “empty calorie snacks” as for the can of formula being barely used nothing was said. The employees I seen in the corner on their phones multiple times a day not interacting with babies. That right there is a big 🚩 but from what the director said was that the situation was taken care of. One morning I watched the cameras. I seen my son crying and crying to the point where his face was red. I sat there watching to see what the worker would do. Not once did she pick him up or comfort him seeing what was wrong. She continued to ignore him. About 5-7min go by I then see the worker start to make a bottle. My son didn’t need a bottle. I had fed him 1 before dropping him off at 6 and this was all happening an hr later. I told the lady who was there before the infant teachers arrived that he just ate. From what I’ve seen there is no communication there. I left work and picked him up immediately. When I got there the bottle was full. All he wanted was the attention and they weren’t giving that to him. I pulled him immediately because I’m not going to watch my son be treated like that and to be spending money on a daycare that isn’t fully caring for my son. There are so many things I could say but simply I just don’t have the time to write about. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps you as a parent, friend, aunt, cousin, ect make a decision on a daycare for your loved one.
Grace MorelosMar 30, 2024Both my kiddos go here and we absolutely love it. They are amazing ranging from their teacher’s to the care my babies get. They have been going here for about a year. We even moved to Boise and I still make the drive here every morning because I wouldn’t trust any where else!
Jeyden ChristesenMar 26, 2024DON’T PUT YOUR CHILD IN HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO BE NEGLECTED!!!! If I could rate this place a 0 star rating I would. The “teachers” would prop baby bottles, ignore crying babies to the point of their face turning red and gasping for air, they record feeding the babies more than they’re actually giving, and leave the babies to kind of fend for themselves when playing. This place is horrid and the reason childcare has a bad rap. The manager brushed off all concerns. This place is disgusting. DON’T TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CHILD.
Vanelope SweetzMar 26, 2024My daughter started going here at 10 weeks. So far it has been a great experience. As an anxious mom I love having the cameras to check in whenever I want as well as getting updates throughout the day on what she is doing. The staff have all been so friendly.
Bobbie BeanDec 30, 2020My son has been going to TLC for Tots since he was 5 months old and he is turning two this month. As new parents we had not had any experience with daycare before. We were looking for a place that was safe first and foremost, but we also wanted someplace that would provide an environment where our son could learn, play, be creative, and make friends. We found everything we were looking for and more with TLC for Tots. My son loves his teachers and lights up when he sees them and he has friends that he gets so excited to see. He learns so much there; they are not just “watching” the kids. My son surprises me all the time with things he has learned. I get a little report everyday that tells me what activities they did, what his favorite activity was, what they had for snacks/meals and how much he ate, when and how long he naps for, etc. I have always felt a very welcoming vibe, I used to go everyday on my lunch break to visit my son until he started napping at the same time my break was and got to know a lot of the teachers. They really care about all the kids. My husband and I are so grateful for TLC!
