  • My child got kicked out of this childcare center when he was in foster care. I would pick him up frequently and on multiple occasions his "teacher" would lie to me about what my child had done that day just to get him in trouble, and ultimately lead to him getting kicked out. He was a child that was dealing with small behavioral problems as a typical 3 year old who transitioned from being with mommy full time to having to adjust to being with strangers he was just getting to know for a period of time who are now a huge part of our lives because they are the sweetest and most loving people alive. I'm disappointed in this center and I have never gotten over it, so I've decided to leave a review so other parents know the lack of empathy this place truly has. My child was not a violent child, but I am warning you, they have very little willingness to deal with any children that may be a little more wild then the other children. They have no understanding and they literally lied to my face on several occasions. My child never felt the need to lie to me, and when I asked if what they were trying to say one day actually happened, he promised me it didn't. I already felt she was being dishonest, and when I seen my child's reaction when he answered my question when I asked if he did it, I knew for a fact he was being honest. She said my son kicked her in the pregnant stomach, which I promise you my son isn't violent. Eventually that teachers special disliking of my child, got him unfairly kicked out, and they did a great job at making my child feel like a "bad kid/bad boy" . This child care center should be sued on several occasions for so many reasons. Thanks for reading my review. I hope if you decide on this center, you have a better experience then I did. I'll never tell anyone to take their children here! Ever!

  • This review is long overdue... We have had the pleasure of utilizing Young America for childcare over the last 3 or so years, having left once only to return. We travel from Emmett, and work in Emmett, but find this facility to be ideal for our children. Why? Well, because they request it. My son who is almost aged out of daycare but whom I believe still too young to stay home all day is adamant about this being the only place he will return. Nothing is a better testament to the quality of this daycare than their low turn over rate- in all the time we've been there every single young lady we've come to know by name is still there. This is huge! The owner takes a personal interest in both of my children, and is a soft place for them to land. We are so pleased with Young America and feel so grateful to have them as a resource. Definitely recommend.

  • I have had my son in a couple different child care facilities and he never has like them that much until I found this place. He's excited every morning to go to school the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My son is on a restricted diet and they have absolutely no problems accommodating him. Even though my son is not at actual school age yet they have a curriculum that they work with him on. If anybody is looking for a good loving child care provider that is competitively priced I recommend checking these girls out. If the wife and I decide to have another child they will definitely go to this daycare.

  • My children attended Young America for a total of 9 days before they were removed from the facility. My son (4) stated he saw a teacher spit in a child’s face. My daughter (1) came home with welted bites marks twice (only 1 was I notified of) and a black eye that no one can explain. They have zero system for notifying you of injuries and when I asked about them, they were brushed off. I reach out to the owner in hopes to just come up with a better system for the injuries. My concerns were disregarded and I was told my daughter “didn’t have a black eye” one day after she was sent home with one. They brushed my concerns aside and told me that the teacher “never left the room and never even got a lunch” the day she received her black eye and if it happened she “didn’t cry” which I find hard to believe. My daughter has been removed from their care for 5 weeks and we are still dealing with some PTSD from her time at the daycare. If you care to be notified of your children’s injuries, I do not recommend.

  • My wife and I took/take both of our boys here. Fantastic facilities but it’s the culture of the place that we love the most. They’ve taken really good care of my kids and the one who currently attends loves it there. He comes home asking where all his teachers are, it’s awesome. He always loves going that drop off is never difficult and talks about his teachers when I tell him he’s going. As student, now teacher along with my s/o being a nurse, they work with us and our always changing schedules. We could not recommend Young America enough.

  • This school has been a lifesaver for us! Jenn and all of the teachers are absolutely amazing. They treat the kids as if they are their own and go out of their way for every family. My kids had zero trouble adapting and they went out of their way to accommodate our babies restrictions after heart surgery and his allergies after. My kids are excelling here as they help them with their school work and prepare the younger ones for grade school.
