My daughter has had such a great experience at this daycare. The staff is caring, patient, and truly treats the children like family. As a parent, it gives me peace of mind knowing she is in a safe, loving, and clean environment every day. I’ve seen so much growth in her socially and emotionally since attending. Communication is always professional, and they genuinely care about each child’s well-being. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for quality care for their little one!
Brittany MinniefieldMay 13, 2026My son has been coming to 5 Star Child Care Development Center for 6 months and is still currently. This has been the best experience for my son. Mrs. Donna is very passionate about her babies and the care she provides for them. I absolutely love the she runs her daycare facility. ❤️❤️❤️
Contrina KellyOct 8, 20245 star is absolutely amazing not to mention that they have inspire u which was summer camp and now before school and after school for kids who are in school. Which was amazing for me because as a single mom of 3 kids of all different ages to do one drop off and pick up helped me keep my job. Ms Donna has even went out of her way to get extra resources for my youngest child who is no verbal and has autism. My baby loves going to daycare and my older kids love inspire you. She takes care of my children so well and communicates any issuses I wish she was open on the weekends. her teachers are so caring
GoddessBeauty ByAzhOct 8, 2024Absolutely terrible experience at this daycare. The owner/director Ms. Donna is very disrespectful and unprofessional. Communication is terrible for someone entrusted in the care of children. And she doesn’t seem to care. After only a week at the school there were issues that I addressed with the director and the response I got back was very rude. I asked about how my daughter was adjusting to the new smaller set up that they have and was told only negative things and that she was “bad” and when I asked to see the camera of what was going on because she didn’t have these issues at her last school. That maybe she was not liking the way you were already handling her and you had not taken the time to get to know her before labeling her as bad. I was quickly told no I couldn’t watch the cameras to see this behavior or what was happening prior to these bad acts bc it was only for her to watch her teachers when she was away. She doesn’t know how to talk to ppl. My daughter is very sensitive and doesn’t do well with someone trying to force her to do something instead explaining why she should do something. I tried talking about this with Ms. Donna but she wont let you finish explaining anything before cutting you off and being super defensive like a child. She didn’t even want to sort out the issue we were having and walked away. One morning as soon as we walked in the door, She asked my daughter if she had a good weekend and I heard her telling my child she wouldn’t go outside if she didn’t say yes with her mouth instead of shaking her head yes. Was told that my child was disrespectful for saying no to things she didn’t like or want to do or responding by shaking her head instead of saying the words. My 4 year old daughter actually said that Ms. Donna is always so angry and always puts her in time out. My 1 year old daughter was picked up last Friday with a diaper full of piss and poop and it was the same diaper that she had on from when I dropped off. Was told that she must’ve have just done it when it clearly had been there a while. I returned Monday to discuss the incident and was made to feel like dad and I were making it up and was asked why he didn’t just bring her back in for them to change her. Only to find out they had written down that she was dry the entire day 8:30a-4:45p. Was told that they don’t change them if they are dry and to that I asked if they could still change her here and there to freshen her up if she is dry and was flat out told No We don’t do that. I asked if they could do this because upon her first week there she got a super bad diaper rash unlike anything she has ever had before. One of the teachers said that she would do it but Ms. Donna still said no. Was told that I need a doctors note for over the counter diaper cream when she had her rash and that they couldn’t put it on my child. That was a lie because she didn’t like the type of cream I bought. Every time we went to the school the 1, 2, and 3 year olds were strapped in high chairs in front of a television. Only seen the kids out and playing with toys once when we first started. I picked my daughter up one day and she was just sitting at an empty table by herself while my baby was just sitting in a high chair doing nothing. There is no classroom separation from the younger kids to the older. They are all just thrown in there together. Its upsetting because I was hoping I found another good school for my babies closer to home because Donna seems really nice and down to earth but it is an act. She is a control freak and thinks she knows what’s best for your child. They need to change the name to No Star. The teacher turnover in just the month Ive been here is high because every other day there is a new face and never the same ones from before. Save your time and look elsewhere. Ms. Nae and Mr. Rico were the only positive things about this school. Very professional and approachable.
Alicia WakefieldOct 8, 2024I can not put into words how welcoming Mrs. Donna is. My son hasnt even started attending and im already head over heals with the location, with the staff. I scheduled a tour date and let me start off by saying its so comfty for the kids. Its a home yet school feel? If that makes sense. I had a few concerns about my son and I addressed them with Mrs. Donna. She met Joseph and she looked at me and said “I got you mom”. My heart melted. “We’ll work together”. As a mom of a child who has autism and Joseph potentially also being on the spectrum youre skeptical, you think no one will understand your baby but it hit different here. He will start August and I look forward to it. My extended thank you to Mrs. Donna such a loving and beautiful soul.
Jay SerranoJul 22, 2023I gave them five stars for MANY reasons. My son is 20 months and has progressed rapidly. His vocabulary is growing. He amazes me each and every day we walk out of there. Being around kids his age., helps tremendously. They have a small class. But I felt comfortable right away when I spoke to Mrs. Donna. I am able to get updates throughout the day. And even photos. I uploaded a few I was sent. I would recommend them to anyone that was looking to put their child in daycare. Mrs. Donna & Mrs. Kellie are very compassionate, nurturing teachers. I trust my child in their care. Without any worry’s. They supple everything your child needs throughout the day. I don’t know how you wouldn’t want to call and see if they have openings.
