  • My daughter attended A Step by Step for 3 years starting in her infancy (2023-2026) and I can’t begin to thank them enough for the experience and education provided. For me, the fact that my daughter looked forward to going to daycare every day was a sign of how truly caring and wonderful all the teachers there are. The results also speak loudly to the care and devotion of the teaching staff there. All the children I have gotten to know through the years have formed such unique and wonderful personalities. This demonstrates what a great community of parents and teachers are involved in their development. On the academic side of things, I can see clearly all of the basics that they have helped my daughter learn. She will point out shapes, letters, and numbers everywhere we go and is so excited when she’s doing it. It’s not just that she is developing a strong base of knowledge, but that she finds it so much fun that is rewarding to witness. If you are looking for a place for your child to develop their social and academic skills I would recommend looking into A Step by Step. My most sincere thanks goes out to all of the staff and the extraordinary job they do.

  • My daughter attended A Step By Step from 4 months old until 18 months old (when we moved out of state). She absolutely thrived at this wonderful center. Her teachers were fun, kind, and nurturing. They were amazing with her as a breastfed baby (with pumped milk) and, once she started solids, with her milk allergy (zero slip ups or issues!). Joy, the director, is organized and responsive. I wish we could have moved this daycare center with us when we left Illinois. We miss them so much!

  • Our child received loving care and firm-with-love guidance at A Step by Step Learning Academy. Director Joy is very involved, and makes sure to get to know every child. The team understands that behavior is communication and doesn't pathologize children when they are having a hard time. Our child made good friends and the staff responded with interest and care when we did have a concern. I recommend A Step by Step Learning Academy and am very grateful that we found them!

  • Our little one started at A Step by Step when he was 18 months old. Considering he is a pandemic baby, he used to get very anxious around new people/places, but we noticed a drastic change once he started daycare. He also has a speech delay, and we recently heard him humming the entire ABC song that he learned at daycare! A Step by Step has been wonderful to our family, and we couldn't be more grateful to them.

  • We loved A Step by Step for our infant! It is so well run. Every time we walked into our sons room, it was such a happy, organized, loving space. Our baby received so much nurture, attention and sensory development!
