Our son attends this school in the toddler room. Mrs G is the teacher and Marie and Elizabeth assist. We have been happy with his development in his first year in the program. Mary Jo and admin staff have been great as well and communicative.
K RoeOct 21, 2025We’ve been part of this Montessori school for 4 years, and it has been a wonderful experience for our family. The teachers are not only skilled and dedicated but also incredibly caring—they truly get to know each child and help them grow with confidence. The campus itself is beautiful, safe, and designed to spark curiosity and independence. We are so grateful for the foundation this school has given our daughter and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing Montessori environment. Unfortunately, we had to leave the school because we’re moving.

Even though we are new here, it already feels like home. Our son is so happy every day, both before and after school. He just loves it! After our very difficult experience with one of the schools in Mt. Prospect, finding AGBMS has been such a blessing. We couldn’t be happier!

Maureen wJul 8, 2025We are so lucky to have found AGBMS! We tried traditional daycare for our daughter at 14 months and she absolutely hated it - cried at drop off and pickup for 2 months straight. Luckily, AGBMS had an opening and we switched her as soon as we could. That was almost 2 years ago. Now we have a smart, happy 3 year old who loves school and is thriving in the Montessori environment, and we have our 17 month enrolled as well. Both our kids love this school, and we as parents are very happy with the quality of care and education they receive here.

It has been a home away from home for our 3 children for the past 9 years as we have witnessed our children grow through the infant program, the Children's House preschool curriculum, and into Kindergarten/Lower Elementary. The teachers and staff are warm, welcoming, engaging, talented, and teach at the highest Montessori caliber day in and out. They go above and beyond to create a warm and loving environment, treating our child as if he were one of their own.The quality of care, attention, and guidance given to each child has been a cornerstone of our experience at AGBMS. The school environment encourages curiosity, peacefulness, and cooperation. One of the unique aspects of this school is the low turnover in staff which provides an incredible sense of comfort and confidence. We love to witness our children's growth and see new things they are learning. Recently, our son's favorite thing is to sign "May I please be excused?" at the dinner table each night - featuring his sign language skills and his grace & courtesy. As parents, we take such pride giving our children this incredible foundation on their learning journey by sending them to AGBMS in their most formative years.
