Recent parent reviews
I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel it’s important for other parents to know what we experienced at Apple Tree Daycare. Unfortunately, our time here was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. My child was repeatedly bitten by other children, and nothing was done to stop it. Every time I brought it up, the staff brushed it off like it was no big deal. There was no plan, no accountability, and no communication on how they were going to prevent it from happening again. To make matters worse, the owner, Jazmine, was shockingly rude and dismissive when I voiced my concerns. Instead of listening and addressing the issue professionally, she became defensive and made me feel like I was the problem for simply advocating for my child’s safety. No parent should have to worry about their child being hurt and ignored, especially by the people we trust to care for them. I would not recommend Apple Tree Daycare to anyone
Paula MieczkowskiAug 7, 2025My family recently moved into the OIB area, and we chose to send our toddler son here. What a good decision that was! It is a family business through and through. Jasmine, the owner, is so nice and so understanding. The teachers are engaged and you can tell they love all the kids very much. The space inside is magical too.
Steve BradleyApr 22, 2023I am so happy we found this place for our son. We moved to Chicago in late 2021 and quickly needed to find a daycare close by to our apartment. I took a chance with Apple Tree, and I hit the jackpot! Our son’s vocabulary has expanded so much. They do such an amazing job of everything, from feeding the kids, changing their diapers and clothes, and doing such fun crafts and activities, like water day when it’s hot. They also are wonderful at sharing photos and videos regularly, which brings us so much joy. We can’t thank the team there enough!
Leila VelaskiJun 15, 2022Apple Tree Learning Center is an amazing place. The staff and teachers are awesome. They go above and beyond. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. I highly recommend sending your children to their child care Center.
Adriana NavaMar 3, 2021My daughters have attended Apple Tree since they were toddlers. They have been there for three years. I can't say enough good things about my experience at this daycare. My girls were preemies and needed to have therapist work with them. The director's were great at allowing the therapists come in to the center and work with my girls. Arnold the director was very helpful, he informed me when one of the therapist that was supposed to be working with one of my girls, was actually just on her phone the whole time and not actually providing the services she was there to do. I eventually ended up hiring someone else and noticed a huge difference in my child's development thanks to Arnold. The teachers at the center truly care about the kids. My girls love this day care and have learned a lot. I am very thankful I was recommended to this daycare by one of my girl's therapists. Having my children attend this daycare was one of the best decisions I made as a parent. I would recommend it to any parent, and I have.
Esther CabezasFeb 14, 2021I strongly recommend Apple Tree. My second one is going there now and we couldn't be happier. This place is family owned, has some character, and friendly and attentive staff. They also know how to entertain our little ones, educate them and inspire curiosity. Very thoughtful space with indoor and outdoor playground. Affordable prices compared to other daycare in the neighborhood as well! Kids love it ! My 5 year old loves going back occasionally!
