  • We are so grateful to have found a Chinese language immersion preschool in the Illinois suburbs. Our son and daughter have attended the preschool, summer camp, and elementary after-school program, and they always look forward to going. The teachers are kind, attentive, and nurturing, and they are very accommodating with day camp options when public schools are closed. Our children have learned so much through songs, language immersion, and fun cultural celebrations like the Mid-Autumn Festival and Chinese New Year performances. Most importantly, it’s a safe, caring environment where our children love to learn and grow. We highly recommend this school!

  • We are so happy to find this school! My son has learned so much and gained so much confidence since he started school here. Teachers are great and patient to encourage kids to be independent. My son was not great at eating and the teachers made sure he ate and he even gained weight since he started going school here. The teachers make sure all the kids are taken care of. My son has made many friends and love the teachers. He is happy to go to school every day. Most importantly, he is now fluent in mandarin and can even sing many mandarin songs!

  • We can't speak highly enough of Bilingual Rock Immersion School and the teachers who run it. Our children have just completed a year in their preschool room, including a portion of the summer program. Our priority was the Chinese immersion, given our cultural heritage. In researching Mandarin language programs, we could not find anything similar in the Northwest Suburbs; the closest are half-day programs that are weekends-only. The school founder and director, Mrs. Lin, truly cares about each student. She provides regular updates in-person, over the mobile app, and email to the parents. The amount of culturally significant events Mrs. Lin and the staff organize (e.g., Lunar New Year) outside of the school day also speak to the commitment the school has to enriching its students and involving their families. We look forward to the upcoming school year!

  • The environment is clean, safe, and welcoming, and the activities are both fun and educational. Our child looks forward to going to school every day, which says everything. Thank you to every teacher for creating such a warm and nurturing place for children to grow. We feel very lucky to have found this wonderful kindergarten — definitely a five-star experience!

  • We absolutely love this daycare! My daughter started here when she was 2 years old. At first, we tried Bright Horizon because it’s a big brand, but we weren’t satisfied — she often came home dirty, and the teachers didn’t seem very attentive. Everything changed after we switched to this school. The teachers here are incredibly patient, caring, and truly love children. My daughter adapted so quickly and is excited to go to school every single day. The teachers are responsible and communicate with us promptly whenever there’s anything we should know. We can really feel that she is well cared for. The curriculum is also very rich — she has learned many songs, crafts, sports activities, numbers, and so much more. We especially love that she gets exposure to both Chinese and English. Her ability to express herself has improved a lot. This is a place where parents can feel genuinely confident and at ease. We are so grateful for the teachers and highly recommend this school!

  • Sending my daughter to this school is honestly the best decision my husband and I have made for her care and education! Prior to this, we were at a new-ish Montessori school that was close to our house. We wanted to move our daughter to this school, which is 2x driving distance, solely for the language immersion. We were a bit nervous when we started because how little exposure she had to the language back then. To our surprise, the transition was smooth and very soon, she started picking up the language. Now she can sing and communicate in Mandarin. The success is mainly because of the teachers. They are easily one of the most genuine, caring teachers that we can ever ask for for our little ones. I love that it is also very easy to have any conversation with them about anything. Their positive attitudes are very reassuring - we know our daughter is in great hands there. Icing on top is the school also attracts great kids with great parents. I get to watch them play and interact during pick up. And I can see why our daughter loves her classmates! It is truly a great school and I recommend to anyone who wants to give great language education and care to their little ones!
