  • Don’t bring your babies here if it’s your first time doing daycare. They didn’t ask me anything about my baby , no communication at all and they don’t offer tours because of “covid”. They didn’t even give my baby a chance to get comfortable, just came to get him and left. Red flags all over.

  • Do not recommend the lady in the office very unprofessional and does not have a healthy attitude towards parents my 3 yr old child attended for almost a year the food always made her have soft horrendous smelled bowel movements and they frequently sent her home for bogus reasons claiming she was sick or something was wrong and she was always fine and once I had my youngest I felt very uncomfortable to send my newborn there so I changed daycares in return they called DCFS and made false allegations saying my 3 yr old had cuts, bruises, welts, abrasions and numerous injuries the case manager told me don’t ever send my kid back there and this is not there first time making false reports on parents since switching daycares my daughter is happy and always wants to go and has had no reason to be sent home please for your peace of mind and the well being of your child do not send your kids here

Questions parents ask about BLACKHAWK LEARNING CONNECTION

Is BLACKHAWK LEARNING CONNECTION a licensed child care provider in Illinois?

Yes. BLACKHAWK LEARNING CONNECTION holds Illinois licence 002545, listed as "Pending renewal application (RN)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in Winnebago County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.

What ages does BLACKHAWK LEARNING CONNECTION accept?

Illinois licenses BLACKHAWK LEARNING CONNECTION for children 6 weeks to 12 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 132. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.

What languages are spoken at BLACKHAWK LEARNING CONNECTION?

The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.

Does this page show inspection results for BLACKHAWK LEARNING CONNECTION?

No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects BLACKHAWK LEARNING CONNECTION's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
