As a parent of two children currently enrolled at Blooming Minds Early Learning Center—one in the infant room and one in the preschool classroom—I feel it’s important to share my personal experience to help clarify any misconceptions. From the very beginning, the teachers and staff at Blooming Minds have been nothing but loving, patient, and professional. The infant teachers in particular show an incredible amount of care and gentleness toward each baby. They treat every child as their own—offering warm cuddles, attentive feedings, and individualized routines that make both babies and parents feel secure. The center maintains strict safety and supervision standards, and communication with parents is always open and transparent. I receive daily updates, photos, and notes that show how attentive and nurturing the staff truly are. Reaponses to any questions or concerns we have are always prompt. I can confidently say that my children are thriving, happy, and well cared for at Blooming Minds. The team deserves recognition for creating such a safe, clean, and loving environment where children are valued and respected every single day.
M KNov 5, 2025I can’t say enough good things about Blooming Minds, Ms. K., Ms. Fary, Ms. Lus, Abuelita, and all of the other teachers there. My two children loved going every morning and we loved the warmth, attention, and education they received. This is a group of women who truly care about kids, it’s very easy to see. The thing that stood out to me the most during our “interview” with Ms. K., was the amount of kids coming into her office to say, “hi!” and “bye!” We’ve gone through quite a few childcare facilities (we either didn’t end up liking the people who cared for our kids, the cost of tuition increased, we felt they were no longer safe, etc.) and I had never seen anything like it. The only reason we left Blooming Minds was because we moved to a different city and could no longer manage the 2 hour commute (1 hour there and back in the morning and 1 hour there and back in the evening) and had to find a different facility, closer to our new home. We loved it there so much, though, that we did try to stay with them for 2 months after we moved, but it proved to be too taxing. Their cost of tuition is very reasonable and while the facility itself may not have all the “bells and whistles”, it’s warm and welcoming with a focus on learning through fun. If you need trustworthy childcare, please consider Blooming Minds! We cannot thank them enough for their care of our kids and their patience with us during a time of transition for our family.
Jessica ThommesOct 30, 2025This review is LONG overdue & I CANNOT say enough about this fabulous learning center. : ) Truly kind, caring, humans work here. ALL the staff was fabulous: Ms. Kanwal, Ms. Fary, Ms. Suma, Ms. Janeth, Ms. Lus, Ms. Fidelia, Ms. Sally & most of all Ms. K!. We were really sad to leave, due to distance logistics & some tears were shed by us, but this entire staff worked with us. I would recommend this facility in a heartbeat & hope more day cares were like this one. We will truly miss you all. Thank you for taking such good care of my grandkids! JT
Judi ThommesOct 15, 2025My son has been going to Blooming Minds since he was 18-months old and he’s now 2. He loves his teachers, and points proudly at each activity he makes! Once he turned 2, the teachers helped his speech and is now talking nonstop. I remember touring around other facilities, being very adamant on viewing the environment as a whole - social engagement, the involvement of the staff, intentional curriculum for their age group to build life skills, but most importantly demonstrating patience, care and empathy to the kids. Miss K, the daycare director, has really fostered a safe and positive environment for not only the kids to thrive but the staff!! Everyone is super caring/empathetic, attentive, and enjoys doing what they do. I won’t go anywhere else with my son being so close to his teachers. It gives me a peace of mind knowing he’s in the best hands. Especially with the importance of cultural diversity here, which is a must coming from Chicago!
Mars AndersonOct 9, 2025I am beyond happy with Blooming Minds Learning Center, and so grateful to have found this place for my children as well as for myself . Before deciding, I toured and interviewed at many other centers, but this was the only one that truly felt right for us. From the very first visit, I noticed the warmth, the care, and the genuine love the teachers have for the kids. Special shout-out to the wonderful infant teachers who treat the children with so much kindness and attention. It honestly feels like I’m dropping my kids off with family members rather than at a daycare—that level of comfort is something every parent hopes for. Another thing I truly appreciate is the food program. The kitchen area is always so clean, and the meals provided are healthy, fresh, and really good! What stood out to me is that the teachers don’t just serve the food and move on—they make sure every child is actually eating, not just picking at their plate or wasting food. Their care in encouraging the kids to eat well gives me peace of mind knowing my children are getting the nourishment they need throughout the day. I also love how diverse Blooming Minds is. Families and teachers come from many different backgrounds, and that creates such a rich and welcoming environment. My children get to learn and grow alongside peers who bring different cultures, traditions, and perspectives—it truly feels like a little community where everyone belongs. This daycare may not be the fanciest-looking place, but that’s exactly why I appreciate it even more. Sometimes the best care and the most genuine love for children are found in places that don’t try to impress with appearances. Here, it’s not about the looks—it’s about the heart, and that’s what truly matters ❤️ The environment here is safe, clean, welcoming, and full of opportunities for the kids to learn, grow, and thrive. Every teacher treats the children as individuals, celebrating their milestones and showing so much patience and dedication. I couldn’t be more thankful to have found Blooming Minds Learning Center—it truly feels like a second home for my kids. Even when I have to take the day off work, I leave knowing they are in the best hands possible. 🌸
Asma BensehiliSep 16, 2025My daughters have been attending this daycare for the last year and love it! They’ve made so many friends, learn so much and love their teachers! The director, Ms. K is so helpful and really knows and cares about each student. I would definitely recommend Blooming Minds!
