  • This review is specifically for Ms Suada and Ms Katie in preschool 5. They have been great partners and advocates for our daughter’s education and overall well being. I’ve seen all the ways my daughter has grown in the classroom both developmentally and in terms of being a good classmate to others. Her teachers care, and beyond just teaching I see the ways they make the kids feel special.

  • My daughter went to Bright Horizons in Evanston and my son is currently enrolled there as well. My daughter has a severe nut allergy and we have other dietary restrictions as well. This was not a problem at all for the staff. The teachers are kind, caring, and form genuine bonds with the kids and families. We have had some pretty incredible teachers here and I can feel the love they have for the kids when I see them. The center hours are great and they are also very responsive. They also are very good at keeping you updated on all things in a timely manner. The app lets me see what my son is up to at school and gives me peace of mind when I am away at work while he is at school. It also gives us things to talk about when we look at the pictures together. Overall, we are glad we chose Bright Horizons and would recommend to other families.

  • I bring my kid in the morning clean well fed with clean diaper. I pick up dirty kid dehydrated with rush on his butt because was left with poop in the diaper for too long, disoriented waiting for his parents to come and pick him up. I am a parent with older kid as well so believe me I know daycares.

  • This was the greatest choice we could have made for our 2 year old. As a very curious and linguistically advanced only child, we wanted him to be around peers to engage him and teachers who could stimulate him. Miss Juju and Miss Tamica were the greatest teachers we could have hoped for. The front desk staff was always friendly (and once even rescued my lost wallet from their parking lot!), and greeted our child by his name and asked him about things they knew he was interested in. When I was feeling ill, I brought him to the front desk and they walked him upstairs so I didn't have to. When he was having a rough day, they gave me the heads up. And on the rare occasion I had a concern about anything that happened at school, they were quick to respond and mediate solutions. I love this school. I'm so grateful this was our child's first experience of what school can be. They set a very high standard.

  • Many times when we picked up our child, he was crouching by the gate, curled up and sucking his fingers — bored, lonely, and completely ignored. One time, a teacher suddenly ran up and accused us of taking photo of her son — we had no idea who she or her child was; we were only looking at our own child. Then she even threatened to call the police and tried to drive us away. Our child was so terrified by this insane outburst that he burst into tears. It was a nightmarish experience — like something out of a horror story. Throughout our time there, they kept saying our child had “problems.” We never felt respected or welcomed. As foreigners, we truly felt discriminated against. This place caused serious emotional harm to family. At this daycare, you’re expected to accept that your child will be judged every day by a behavior chart — counting how many times they “didn’t follow directions” or “didn’t meet expectations.” Every week or few days, they call to criticize your child and pressure you to hire a private caregiver to stay at the daycare. That means you pay not only the full daycare tuition, but also nanny wages — just to get through the day. If we could give negative stars, we absolutely would. Please avoid this daycare at all costs. Please notice a teacher here needs to be on 8 about 2-year-old toddlers. As they tried to make most money, they have to select the ones who need least care and support. So if your child can’t adjust to quickly talking and obeying, please be cautious with them. You can never trust these people’s character. They will do tricky things to make others feel bad. Lowest service highest price.

  • Our son spent half a year at this wonderful preschool, from age 2.5 to 3, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thanks to the warm, patient guidance of Ms. Sam, Noor, Tamica, and Chanda, he adjusted smoothly and grew so much during his time here. The teachers truly care about each child, creating a nurturing and supportive environment where our son felt safe, happy, and encouraged to explore and learn. We are incredibly thankful for the love and dedication they’ve shown. Highly recommended!
