  • I would strongly caution parents before enrolling their children at this daycare. Over the time my twins attended, we experienced repeated issues with communication, professionalism, and transparency from management. One of the most concerning situations happened when my daughter reported that a teacher hit her brother. When my husband went to address the issue, instead of management handling the concern appropriately, he was directed to confront the teacher himself. We felt the situation was never properly investigated or resolved. Shortly after that incident, my daughter was moved into another classroom while my son remained behind, despite them being the same age and both turning three in February. We were told my daughter was “too advanced” for the classroom, but when we later asked why my son had not been moved, we were given inconsistent explanations. First, we were told he scored too low on an assessment to advance. Later, the teacher who administered the assessment informed us the real reason was because the next classroom was already at capacity. After a parent-wide email instructed parents not to question teachers directly and to only speak with administration, I requested that my son be reassessed while I was present. I was then told I would have to wait another 30 days for reassessment. The final issue involved my children’s spring pictures. After the photos were taken, we noticed what appeared to be AI-generated alterations to the images. We were never informed or asked for permission for our children’s photos to be edited in that manner. When I brought the concern to the owner, the use of AI was denied despite the obvious changes in the photos. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, the daycare terminated my children’s enrollment. Our experience with this daycare was extremely disappointing. We encountered repeated inconsistencies, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. Parents deserve transparency and professionalism when trusting others with their children. By the way those 5 star reviews are fake. Update: I want to address the response from the owner because there are several statements that are simply not true. First, my daughter Shai was NOT moved to the preschool classroom in February because she was “assessed” and determined eligible to move forward. That never happened. She did not complete any assessment until April, around the same time they suddenly performed an assessment on my son, Namir. There was never any February assessment, meeting, paperwork, or discussion with me stating that she qualified to move classrooms at that time. Second, I absolutely stand by my statement regarding my children’s photos being altered. I have clear photos showing that the shoes in my daughter’s daycare pictures were not even the same shoes she wore to school that day. The images were clearly edited/AI altered. I have no reason to make something like that up. Anyone can view the comparison photos on my Facebook page, Shanita Angelique, where I will be posting them publicly. What continues to be ignored is the main issue: my son being hit by a teacher, which was reported by my daughter. Instead of management properly handling the situation, my husband was directed to address the teacher himself. No meaningful resolution ever happened. Then, less than two weeks later, my daughter was suddenly moved out of her classroom with no proper explanation, no documented assessment, and no communication supporting the decision. At this point, the issue is not just the incidents themselves, but the continued dishonesty and lack of accountability whenever concerns are raised.

  • New management has definitely turned this daycare around and I love it. As a very involved father in my child’s education, I appreciate the staff going above and beyond, and you can tell they enjoy what they do. This center is top tier and their Preschool For All program facilitates the best curriculum with crafts, math and reading activities, and so forth. I will continue to recommend this center to people I know.

  • This daycare is extremely well operated and always clean. The staff creates a respectful, welcoming environment and is very attentive to the children. They do a great job teaching, and their creativity really shows in the activities and daily learning. Highly recommend.

  • The past few weeks has been a lot of changes. Having a son with autism is hard at times to find good people to care for him especially with being a single mom. Ms. Angel and Ms. Jennifer were attentive to my boy. They suddenly made changes and it’s new people. The energy in the building is off and I also heard Ms. Goldie say “oh Lord the boys are here,” and said I hope it’s not a day that they stay all day. As if having my kids or any kids there is too much for her. She shouldn’t be employed in that field if she is overwhelmed by toddlers with high energy. My youngest has expressed how she is always yelling at all students as if these aren’t 2-5 year old kids. I stopped bringing my kids immediately after that. They also recently been exposed to roaches. This new management and team HORRIBLE!!

  • This daycare has been amazing to my boys. Ms. Angel is so wonderful. A lot of changes has been made. Ma. Jennifer was such a major part of the center as they made some sudden changes. My kids ask for Jenifer and Janice and angel. My son has autism and he struggles to stay with the new staff members. I’m glad ms. Angel is still there but ms. Jennifer and Janice’ was a major part of that building.

  • My child had been with BSLA since April 2024 (2yo). I initially placed him there to socialize with his peers being that his siblings are much older. From day one in the 2yo room, till now being in the toddler room, he has been cared for, loved on and educated by the staff as if he were their own. There has been some remodeling done to enhance what was already a nice, clean facility. When the weather permits, they have a nice play area outside and playground. They also assist with potty training, which all parents know is not an easy task. I’m glad that throughout my search to find a daycare/preschool, I was led to choose this one. I’m happy and most importantly my child is.
