  • I cannot recommend this daycare enough based on my family's experience during summer camp. From the beginning, I experienced communication that I found to be unprofessional. On multiple occasions, one of the teachers made comments that came across as condescending and dismissive, not only toward me but also toward my mother during pickup. When I eventually raised these concerns, I did not feel they were genuinely addressed. Instead, I felt my experience was minimized and my concerns were reinterpreted rather than thoroughly investigated. The most concerning incident involved scratches that I discovered on my daughter's back after pickup. She was wearing a fitted jean dress that fully covered her back. This was the only scratch mark on her body. I was asked whether she had been itching, but there were no other scratch marks or signs that she had been scratching herself. I was also told she had a good day and that nothing significant had happened. When I sought answers, I received inconsistent explanations about how the scratch may have occurred. I was ultimately told there was no documentation of any incident. As a parent, that was extremely concerning. If my child sustained an injury while in care, I expected a clear explanation and proper documentation. The lack of documentation and changing explanations left me questioning what actually happened and whether appropriate supervision and incident reporting procedures were followed. Because of these concerns, I made the decision to immediately withdraw my daughter from the program. I had already paid tuition in advance for the following week, and there were also unused tuition days remaining after I withdrew her. The owner acknowledged that I was owed a refund and agreed to issue it. However, despite that agreement, I have still not received my refund. My follow-up messages asking when I could expect the refund have gone unanswered, and communication has stopped altogether. Parents place an incredible amount of trust in childcare providers. Based on my experience, I was left without clear answers regarding my daughter's injury, repeated unprofessional interactions, inconsistent explanations, no documented incident report, and an unresolved refund for tuition that the owner agreed was owed. Accountability, transparency, professionalism, and timely communication are essential when families entrust you with their children. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Looking back, there were red flags before my daughter's injury. By her second week, I realized I had still never met the owner in person. I asked about it and was given an explanation, but I believe parents should have the opportunity to know and meet the person operating the program. In hindsight, that lack of personal involvement, combined with the way my concerns were handled afterward, reinforced my decision to withdraw my daughter. Update (August 2026): The owner's public response did not reflect my experience. 1. During the DCFS licensing investigation, I was informed that the owner acknowledged she had never met me in person. Her later public response stated otherwise. 2. According to my records, I reported the scratches at 7:55 p.m. The exact time is not the issue. I reported the injury the same evening after giving my daughter a bath. 3. The bump on my daughter's head (later determined to be an insect bite) was added to ProCare only after I reported the scratches. I found that timing concerning. 4. The urgent care provider, not me, initiated the DCFS report after evaluating my daughter. 5. The owner also confirmed to the DCFS licensing investigator that I would receive a refund. However, as of this update, I have received neither the agreed refund nor any communication confirming it was issued. Regardless of the amount agreed to be refunded, my daughter is no longer enrolled, and I have received no update regarding the status or processing of the refund. My formal demand letter was not a threat; it was a documented legal demand sent only after my requests for a payment timeline went unanswered.

  • We were extremely pleased with the level of care, attention, and intentional development our daughter received. The Pre-K curriculum prepared her exceptionally well for the selective enrollment test, and she was accepted into one of the top CPS schools as a result. We’re grateful for the foundation she built here and look forward to enrolling our youngest child as well.

  • The ownership and staff are loving, caring, helpful, and most important, steadfast about the child's development. Even the field trips are beneficial for both parents and children. I 1000% recommend for any family .
