I've had both my children at CCC for many years and we have had a wonderful experience. They communicate well, love my babies like their own, provide wonderful activities for learning and playtime, and take a lot of time/effort/care to address any concerns. They follow strict procedures with checking in/out children (which makes me feel extra safe leaving my kids there) and have done a ton of work on the facility in recent years. Highly recommend.
Heidi BainterMar 3, 2021Whoever is the driver for the van that picks up and drops kids off at Zion school here in Lincoln should be fired and have her license revoked. Speeding on Woodlawn, cant seem to follow the driveway lines and almost hitting me several times. And she drives kids around?
91supra313Nov 9, 2017The director there leaves a lot to be desired. My daughter was an employee and instead of being coached on what she did not like about her performance she played games with her schedule. The staff get their work schedule through an app on their phone. My daughters schedule would be changed on a daily basis. It was ridiculous and since she was trying to please her employer she would never say anything but change her commitments to accommodate her work schedule. When her phone broke, she had to call off so she could have her phone fixed in Normal Illinois after her class at school. Her friend was able to take her and with a broken phone she had no GPS. So, she was told that she needed to have a meeting with the director on Monday. That Monday the director Libby, told her that she had a choice, she could be terminated or she could resign so it would not look bad on her record. The management leaves a lot to be desired. If they cannot manage their staff easily, I certainly would not let them be in charge of taking charge of my children or grand children. Very disappointed in this "christian" facility.
Kristy AndersenMay 15, 2017As a previous employee, I would not recommend this place. Most of the teachers are great. There are a few that are too physical with children and also call them names. If the director doesn't like a teacher, she will lie and fire you. Or in my case give you no reason and then walk you out like a criminal all because she does not like you because you notice her shifty ways. They serve 4 year old food. The building is an electrical nightmare, had rodent problems, and leaks (sometimes on the electrical). They are disrespectful to the volunteer grandma's and use them like slaves. Even while I worked there I refused to put my daughter in. The best teachers they have are the toddler teachers but beware of how poorly they eat and are treated.

Questions parents ask about CHRISTIAN CHILD CARE
Is CHRISTIAN CHILD CARE a licensed child care provider in Illinois?
- Yes. CHRISTIAN CHILD CARE holds Illinois licence 139316, listed as "License issued (IL)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in Logan County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.
What ages does CHRISTIAN CHILD CARE accept?
- Illinois licenses CHRISTIAN CHILD CARE for children 6 weeks to 12 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 102. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.
What languages are spoken at CHRISTIAN CHILD CARE?
- The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.
Does this page show inspection results for CHRISTIAN CHILD CARE?
- No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects CHRISTIAN CHILD CARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
