Our family has had an exceptional experience with Creative Academy. Our twins started care there at 6 months old and have thrived in the nurturing environment they work so hard to provide. Ms. Elise, Ms. Liz, and Mr. Ray in the infant room keep us constantly updated throughout the day with pictures and messages. They express genuine care for our girls and collaborate with us to help them grow and develop. Ms. Elise is warm and caring and invested in every milestone! The facility is well maintained and warm and welcoming for all the kids and families. The director Ms. Angel is exceptional. She is very friendly, organized, and on top of everything happening at the center. We plan to continue care at CA for as long as possible.
Beth ThorpJun 10, 2026I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand how Creative Academy in La Grange, IL is run, and I can say without hesitation that this is one of the most intentional, detail-oriented childcare centers in the area. The director approaches every aspect of her business with purpose and precision. From her social-emotional, play-based curriculum to the way she develops her team and communicates with families, nothing is left to chance. What stands out most is how she grows her center without ever compromising on quality. Every decision is rooted in doing what is truly best for the children in her care. Families searching for a licensed childcare center in La Grange will not find a more dedicated, growth-minded, and detail-driven director than the one leading Creative Academy. This center is a true gem in the La Grange community.
arianne cesarMay 17, 2026I wanna thank the teachers for doing their best taking care of my 3 year old and infant. Here are some of my honest frustrations with this daycare though just to help parents make an informed choice when picking a daycare. My 3 year old toddler and infant were enrolled in Nov 2025 but the director surprised me with a ridiculously high new price one afternoon when I went to pick up the kids end of January 2026 which was around 1300$ a month higher than the price she had discussed with us when we joined. In the future I feel like she needs to discuss clearly with parents about the price.this was a huge hit on our finances but we braced ourselves and kept up with her prices because we needed to keep our jobs. My job would end at 2:30 and I would pick my 5 month old before 3pm and it was very frustrating to pick her up when she was very hungry her wanting a bottle soo bad that she was crying soo loud and non stop and the most annoying thing is that the workers would be handing 2 of her bottles of milk that prolly no one had time to feed the baby so I would end up feeding baby the milk I took to the daycare hoping a workers would feed her.my infant would drink not less than 7 oz after I pick her up and then sleep for 2hrs or so.My simple guess was that they didn’t have enough workers to take care of the infants. The director kept on complaining that our infant was crying a lot and I also shared with her that yeah sometimes the baby cries when I set her down but if I pick her up at such moments she stops to me which is a normal thing with babies. She suggested we needed to see an early development specialist and make sure that baby is fine and we went ahead with her idea anyway to make sure we are not missing anything that she was seeing .Few weeks later even before the set appointment with the specialist happened one Monday at noon this director called my husband to go get our daughter that she was crying a lot and when my husband showed up this director said that was the last day for our infant at the daycare..no notice no nothing and we have jobs to go to. I mean she charged us that very Monday for the whole of that week but her knowing parents take kids to daycare to be able to work. if she really meant well even if she was feeling done with our infant I felt that she would have notified us that Monday that the last day for our infant would be on the friday and this would give us as parents to make arrangements with our jobs accordingly within the 4 days notice. I mean if it was my 3 year old who had acted inappropriately and maybe fought another child I would understand if they kick the toddler out of the daycare same day but and infant because she cried??? As if this was not enough this director decided she will not give us the refund for the whole of that week even though she is the one who decided to kick the infant out of our daycare. She had suggested to give credit to our older but we told her we can’t keep our toddler at the daycare the following week and watch the infant at home. We decided to keep the appointment with the early development specialist and 3 different specialists for kids came to the house and they were surprised why the daycare director thought our baby needed an intervention because they took their time to interact with baby in the house , they did all the observation they needed to make on baby , they even requested us to leave the room for a while and all they saw was a perfect baby. Conclusion being made that baby was 100% okay and zero concerns .they would not stop to wonder why baby was kicked out of the daycare. Writing this today I am happy to say we were able to get a better daycare for our 2 children and they have been at the new daycare for a month now and they like it there and the owner of the new daycare has never complained about our infant.
Phoebe MutonoMay 16, 2026All in all we liked Creative Academy, just some poor decisions at the end, in my opinion. We were with Creative academy since Nov '25 for our 3yo, and since Jan for our 7month old. The main concern was the director deciding to end services for our baby "effective immediately," when I showed up 2 hours early because she said the baby wasnt adapting well that day. Staff basically found that our baby wanted too much 1on1 attention for what they could do, and felt our baby upset the other babies when ours cried. I thought progress was being made but the director seem to feel that she was done trying. Director refused to keep my baby for the remaining 3 days of the week, or to refund the weeks services not rendered, adding insult to injury. Wanted to forward partial credit towards our other child - but there's no point to this since I'd to stay home from work with 1 child and continue paying daycare costs. Quotes policy that tuition is based on enrollment and not attendance, but doesnt hold her side of responsibility to maintaining enrollment period, giving proper notice, or what's a commonly experienced business practice to return money for unutilized services. No time to find alternate daycare/ Make adjustments or preparations for work, etc. Odd. Other encounters to discuss minor concerns or requests were also met with little to no discussion, "no, we don't do that here" type responses. Give some discussion, maybe consider the other side, adjusting occasionally for some circumstances, such as when I asked to bring in the baby carrier when temperatures were below 0. However, they gave us some discounted weeks towards the beginning of services, which we appreciated, so maybe I can say they earned this current money lost, so all that remains is the principal of the matter that I hope the director moves forward handling similar situations better. Otherwise, I generally had felt that the staff did well with our children. I like how they are utilizing an app to send various updates and communicate about the children throughout the day - it's fun and helpful and modern feeling.
Micah DavisMay 16, 2026I have the pleasure of coming to this school to provide sports and physical education programming (I travel to child care centers all over the Chicagoland area for these services and have seen a lot ! ) I have over 10 years of education and youth programing experience and I’m always most impressed by the cleanliness of this location and the well trained staff and class room management! - Thank you creative academy team for your commitment to excellence !
Bryana JohnsonFeb 25, 2026I visit this daycare monthly as a librarian to read to the children, and it has always been a positive experience. The classrooms are welcoming, the outdoor play area is great, and the children are well cared for and engaged. The staff is organized and supportive. I enjoy working with this center.
