  • The Darien Park District is fantastic. They have so many options for all ages and everyone I have ever encountered couldn't be nicer. The playgrounds sprinkled all around Darien are lovely and encompass areas for multiple age ranges. The educational programs and camps are also top notch and my kids love going! The teachers and camp counselors are always lovely, kind, and go above and beyond.

  • The Darien Park District is a nice and clean facility for people in the community to get involved. It has a gym with workout machines and a big space for sports or events. There are a variety of clubs and activities for children, as I was once part of, and even adults! They also have rooms you can rent for parties or other activities. Parking is easy and it’s not too crowded. It’s a good spot to hang out, exercise, or go to a class.

  • Matt Henderson Director of Parks & Facilities Darien Park District is a piece of trash. Speaks to residents in a hostile, entitled way. Began yelling at me in front of my daughter……offers no help to remediate Parks Department issues. Acts like a politician, has a smart answer for everything. Darien Parks Department management is an absolute Joke!!

  • There are two pretty nice playgrounds, and one of them is mostly under the shade which makes it good even on really sunny days. There is enough grass fields and even a small hill for kids to roll down.

  • We liked the new play ground for babies and my little one really enjoyed playing in sand until we noticed those insects lying eggs in sand. It was really gross.
