My son has been attending since April. I had doubts especially being in a Pandemic . The staff assured me that they are taking proper precautions and sanitize daily. Its good to see a daycare not only taking our children's health so seriously but their happiness as well. The entire staff from the boss down is amazing ! Very attentive and hands on . My son always comes home very happy & his communication and social cues are improving . Hes all around so much better and im very grateful to be apart of the Discovery team❤️❤️

Lillian DavisMay 3, 2018Before I started my own business, a tutoring center my daughter attended Discovery academy at the age of 2 years old and now she is 6 years old. They bring in outside professionals to assist their children/students with the best possible learning and development. My daughter was assessed and was later diagnosed with needing an IEP for speech. Once I enrolled her in CPS Wendell Smith they provided her with a speech therapist and she recently graduated from her speech therapy program. I'm grateful that Discovery Academy/The Porters had done that EARLY on in her development. This family owned business also work with their families financially and understand that unforeseen circumstances happen. I highly recommend enrolling, stopping by for a tour as they care about your child's development. Your favorite parent Ms Brooks of Brooks Tutoring House. You guys are the BEST!

With me being a first time mom I was nervous about putting my son in daycare and I heard good reviews from neighbor who has her two kids in there. The staff is warm and make you feel comfortable. Mr. Brian is so cheerful and always got a smile on his family.The class dojo is great. You get to know what your child is doing thoughout the day and communicate with the teacher. I was so sad when my son couldn't return due to financial reason. I've recommended the daycare to many of my friends.

A love the various techniques they use to prepare them (videos, hand-on activities, music, etc.).The staff are pleasant and nurturing. They are truly like 2nd family to us. They actually pay attention to my children's needs and interact with me, and have family night activity (engagement) My son (8 months) and daughter (8 years) attends and loves the learning activities they learn there and look forward to coming every time.

This daycare has become a extension of my family and I thank God for their passion for the success of each child and the patience to see that success come to fruition in the lives of the children. This is truly one of the best kept secrets in Chicago and if you’re looking for a daycare that will love, nurture and support your children both spiritually as well as naturally then this is the place for you!
