All of the teachers are top notch! They foster the perfect balance of independence, exploration, education and love. I could not recommend them more!
Nadia WetzelMar 13, 2026So happy to have found this wonderful school. We’ve been so fortunate to have had our son learn from Elmhurst Montessori’s incredibly supportive, down to earth teaching staff. They’ve challenged him to grow socially and build independence as a toddler, are dedicated to the Montessori method, and we’ve been so happy to join the connected community that the school fosters with parent groups and family activities outside the classroom. Classes are small enough and teachers are so well credentialed that each child seems to get caring, individual attention focused on their individual interests and skill levels, and it shows. Having moved a bit, our kids have had a number of different childcare experiences, and Elmhurst Montessori is at the top. It’s obvious that the kids feel safe, happy, and encouraged here too - there’s almost an entirely school-wide tear-free drop-off as far as we’ve observed - which feels miraculous when it comes to early childhood education, but true. Our son is not the only one that proudly and happily trots into the classroom each day. We appreciate their personal approach and open communication style with parents, and the confidence they’ve instilled in our son. Can’t say enough positive things about EMP!
Cara OlieMar 3, 2026We sent our daughter here for a toddler program and she is just finishing pre-k 4. Our son is in the toddler program now and both kids are thriving. They have done an excellent job of preparing her for kindergarten - she's learning to read and doing math at this point and loves it all. Both kids are excited to go to school each day! The community is incredible and the teachers are so caring and passionate. I also like that siblings follow each other so he has the same teachers as her which was helpful for continuity. We would recommend EMP to anyone with little kids!
Kelly SpenglerFeb 28, 2026EMP has been a wonderful part of our lives for two years and I recommend them to everyone looking at preschools! They have outstanding teachers and curriculum. We have no concerns sending our child to kindergarten in the fall thanks to the wonderful education he has received. My four year old is happily reading, writing and doing addition in his calming and supportive classroom environment. The schedule is also available for half or full day, a lunch program and a summer school extension. This preschool is outstanding!!
